TW!!!! Mention of ED
Charlie's pov:
It's a couple of months later, and me and nick have bought our own apartment. Today is the last day of moving, which means that tonight when we go to sleep we have officially moved out. It's actually really sad when you think about it. We have so many memories in both our houses, and the fact that we will never live there again breaks my heart a little. But im also really exited to start this new journey.
"Thats the last one" nick says almost out of breath as he puts the box down in the kitchen. "Me and tori will go now so you guys can get settled in" Nick's mum says. "Okay" Nick says, I see a tear starting to form in his eyes and I go give him a hug. "Bye" tori and Sarah yells closing the door. I look up at nick and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "It's okay to be sad nick, but remember this is a new chapter, our new chapter" he starts crying even more as I say this. "I know, its just, I'll miss my mum, Henry and Nellie" nick says sobbing,"Oh I know love, but we'll babysit nellie and Henry as often as possible and invite your mum over when we have the time" I hug him tighter and removes the hair from his face. I love it when nick gets vulnerable, I know that's sounds kind of creepy, but I like taking care if him like he took care of me back when my mental health was really bad. I wish I could give him just half the love back he gave me, but I know I'll never be able to pay back for all the things he helped me through. "Do you wanna sit down before we start unpacking?" I ask looking him in the eye. "No it's okay *sniff* we can unpack" nick smiles at me and holds my hand. "Should we start with the bathroom and kitchen?", "Yeah, I'll do the kitchen since you never even use it" nick answers, I give him a little shove, he chuckles and walks to the kitchen. I go to the bathroom and start unpacking.
As I'm going through the boxes I suddenly see tori's hairbrush, I start crying since I just realized I'll never live with my sister, or brother, ever again. 22 years I lived with tori, she has been my bestfrind and roommate for 22 years. As I'm sitting on the floor crying nick comes into the bathroom, he sits down next to me and give me hug, "Oh what's wrong char" he says in his calming voice, "Ill never live with tori again" I start crying even more when I hear the words out loud. I'll never live with tori again... I'll never live with tori again... I'll never live with tori again.. The words run through my brain. "Shh it's okay char, I know you'll miss her, but she is only a phone call away" I start calming down after a few minutes. "I'm sorry I freaked out like that, I just hadn't realized it before now", "Its okay Charlie, I get it" nick kisses me on the top of my head, "I gotta get back to the kitchen, will you be okay?" nick asks with the sweetest and most caring look on his face, "Yes, I also have to finish this"
Nick's pov:
After I finished the kitchen I got to our room and start making the bed ready so we actually will be able to sleep here tonight. "Charlie" I yell from the bedroom, "Yeah" he yells back, "Wanna order pizza tonight?" there's a silence after I ask that question, then it hits me, he hates ordering food, he doesn't have his ED anymore, but he still find fast-food challenging, I run to the bathroom, "Im sorry char, I don't know how I could forget, I'll make us something", "No its okay, but can we just share one, I don't want a whole pizza to myself" I give Charlie a hug, "yes of course, I'm proud of you", "thank you, I love you nick", "I love you too char".
After about an hour after we have unpacked almost all of our stuff, we didn't have much cause we still haven't bought the last things for the kitchen and living room. We sit on the couch watching our series as someone knocks on the door "I'll get it, its probably the pizza" I get up and get the pizza. I sit down next to Charlie again, and we start eating. After 20 minutes Charlie is still working on the first slice, I hold his hand, "do you want a salad or something else instead, you don't have to eat it if you aren't ready yet", "No, its okay. I want to" "Okay, but if you change your mind tell me, I'll make you something", "thank you" he hugs me and I feel the butterflies in my stomach fly around.
After a couple of hours I look down to see Charlie asleep on my lap, I lift him up and carry him to the bedroom. I lay him down and cover him with a blanket. "I love you" I whisper before kissing him and laying down next to him he cuddles into me, and I wrap my arms around him.I can't believe we actually live together. I feel myself tearing up. This is what I've always wanted. Him and me together, no one else, just the two of us.
