Charlie's persepctive.
I swear he almost Said "i love you". Or did he? Ugh. Why did his mom have to come Home.
I pull my phone out and start typing.
"I love you"
My thumb is running in circles over the send button. Fuck it. I'm doing it. I hit send. Shit it already says read? Fuck. I've ruined everything.
I'm an idiot. Idiot. Idiot. Idiot.
Nick's perspective:
Just as I've gotten back to my room my phone makes a Sound and i check the notification.
Charlie❤️: i love you
I can't believe it. He just Said i love you? I need to say it back.
I run Down the stairs and open the front door
"Nicky baby, at least put on shoes!" My mom yells
I dont even have time to answer her so i just keep running only wearing socks.
After a good 2 minutes i spot my curlyhaired boyfriend Down the street.
"CHARLIE" i yell
He turns around looking at me, and i run up to him and hug him.
"H- hi"
"YOU SAID "I LOVE YOU" TO ME OVER TEXT"
"Sorr-"
"AND DON'T YOU DARE SAY SORRY!"
"...okay"
"Say it again... Can you please say what you Said again?" I ask
"Its embarrasing"
"Want me to say it first Then?"
"Uh, i defintatly Said it first, I'm not letting you have this one" he laughs
"I love you" he says "And you dont have to say it back-"
"I love you too" i say. "I love you so much"
We hug again and never have i felt this happy. Of course the thing he told me earlier is still in the back of my mind, but i really dont wanna ruin this moment with thinking about that.
"I really need to go Home now or my mom Will get mad" Charlie says
"Yeah, yeah of course. I love you. See you tomorrow?"
"I love you too. And yes"
"Text me when you get home char?"
"I Will"
"Bye"
"Bye"
