Part 3 ~ Struggling

A/N~ This is back to the present (2023). The only difference is I don't know if I am going to include Covid unless you guys want me to. Just let me know!

They were all sitting in the dorms hanging out after a long day of practicing. Stray Kids had a special stage production in the U.S. Sae was supper excited to go to the U.S. as she has never been before. She had been learning English with Chan and Felix for a while now and knew  more than Seungmin. She had wanted to live in the United States or study abroad there if she wasn't able to debut. She loved everything she has heard about it. The food, the people, and the scenery. She also loved the English language and didn't know why. 

She decided to go where everyone else was in the living room. She sat on the couch in between Minho and Chan. She laid her head on Chan's shoulder and Minho shot her a glance. Sae then stuck up her middle finger to Minho telling him to leave her alone. Just sibling love.

Chan was her person. He was the only one she told her secrets to other than Minho. He knew a lot about her private life as it was easier for her to open up to him than any of the other members. He knew about her eating disorder and parent's abuse. He always made sure she ate something at every meal even if it was just a singular piece of food, he was happy. He also helped her with her insomnia since he had the same problem. They would stay up talking while the other members were asleep. They would play a game for who could fall asleep first. It was usually Sae but every once in a while Chan fell asleep first. Sae helped him finish up with what he was working on since she was up anyways. She would help make beats for new songs and even help write them. Sae was elected 3Racha's Honorary member. They grew really close over the last 3 years.

Chan laid his head on top of Sae's and started playing with the rings of her fingers. He almost never did this. "Are you ok Channie?" she said.

"Ya, I'm fine. Just stressed" he sighed.

"You want to talk about it?" Sae said worried because he never opens up to anyone.

"No" he said trying to avoid attention being brought to him. He never liked opening up to anyone about what was really bothering him. He only told people the minimal he could, lied, or didn't answer.

"You know you can talk to me about anything right?"

"Yes, maybe later" he sighed.

Their conversation was interrupted by a very hyper I.N and Felix. "Hey can we watch a movie? Please! Please! Please!" they begged.

"Are you packed and ready for tomorrow?" Chan asked.

"Yes" "No" 

They looked at each other. "Hey! You said you were done packing Liar!" Felix said.

"Oops"

"Ok, I'm going to pack for our tour. Then, we can watch the movie. Chan come talk to me if you need to. I don't want you to get hurt and I want to make sure your ok." Sae said as she got up and started heading upstairs to pack.

When she got upstairs she packed up her favorite clothes including crop tops and shirts and shorts for practicing, nice clothes for interviews and going out to eat, and finally comfy clothes for whenever she doesn't have to look nice. She often wore hoodies and sweatpants in the dorms and sometimes at practice if they weren't taking too long. Sae also packed her blanket so she wouldn't get too cold in the hotel room.

Just after she finished packing, her door opened. It was Chan. He walked over and laid on her bed and just stared at her watching her pack. He looked really stressed out and on the verge of tears. "Are you ok?" she asked again hoping this time she would get an answer, but instead of an answer, tears started falling down his face. "What's wrong Channie?" she asked worriedly. He didn't say anything and just started crying harder. She hated seeing him like this and knew he hated it too. "It's ok you don't have to say anything" she said as she held him in her arms.
