Part 20 ~ New Dorms

Everything was back to normal. Well almost everything. They had gone back to their normal practice, eating, and sleeping schedules. The only thing that was still weird was their practice room was still their dorm. They had to wait to hear back from JYP on what their new living situations would be.

"I just got a call from JYP" Chan said walking back into the practice room where all the members were currently gathered.
"He said that he is going to split us up into 3 dorms. It is really weird numbers for how it is split up. One dorm is 4 people, one is 3, and the other is 2. How do you guys want to split up?"

"I think Minho and Jisung should get the one of just 2 people. They have been together forever and I don't want to see anymore of that." Hyunjin said disgusted earning nods from Felix and Jeongin.

"Then the three of you can have the one second dorm and the rest of us will take the last one. All of the dorms have a room for everyone staying there so everyone has their own space. We also get to spend money to decorate using the company card. It has no limit by the way." Chan explained.

"YES FREE MONEY!" Jeongin and Felix said in unison earning a laugh from everyone else. They are probably the two that spend the most money out of the group.

"Let's spend the rest of the day moving in and making them our own." Chan suggested. 

"Can we first see what the dorms look like? I need to know so I know where to put all my clothes." Jeongin said.

All of the members loaded up into the car to travel to their new dorms. Moving into new dorms was much overdue. Even JYP agrees. They were a lot more popular now and there was little to no security at their old one that they all shared. It was also starting to get really cramped with 9 people living in one place.

"Okay just so everyone knows" Chan started getting everyone's attention "These dorms have very high security. To get into the building you need to put in a code. The code is 0325 which should be really easy to remember. Do not tell anyone this code. If you invite anyone to the dorms you have to buzz them in and there is a camera that will show you who is trying to get in. There is also a special elevator that will only take you to our floor after your fingerprint is scanned. This is the only way to get to the "penthouse" floor. You also need to scan your fingerprint to get into the dorms. We do not have fingerprint access to each other's dorms so be careful when opening the door for knocks. Make sure it is another member before you open the door. There is security at the entrance which we will see in a second."

"Wow. This place is secure." Seungmin remarked.

"You also happen to be staying with the strongest member" Changbin said flexing his muscles earning a laugh from the blushing Seungmin next to him.

They got to the apartment building and walked in submitting the code and entering the elevator. They learned how to use the elevator before arriving to their floor. It only had 3 doors for the 3 different dorms that they were going to live in. All of the dorms were very spacious each being double the size of the single dorm they all lived in before. 

"I call this room" was heard from each of the members as they were exploring their new dorms.

After taking a good look around, they were ready to start personalizing them. They came up with all the stores they wanted to hit including a few furniture and mattress stores along with a few hours spent on Amazon to get everything they need.

Chan, Sae, Changbin, and Seungmin decided to keep a more modern looking dorm. With there being 4 bedroom inside the dorm of course one of them is a gym and another is a recovery room. All of the members in this dorm lift weights so it is only fair for both room to be as they are. Some obviously lift more than others. Chan and Sae are sharing a room leaving Changbin and Seungmin to also share a room. Don't worry they all have their own beds (even if they aren't going to use them very often).

Han and Minho decided to keep a more minimalistic style including the colors of the cover of the song they produced together. It obviously has a spot for Han's guitar and producing studio. It also includes a small area for Minho to dance if he wanted to.

(It won't look like this as they are moving in as all of Hyunjin's artwork was destroyed but will look like this over time.)
Lastly the dorm of Hyunjin, Felix, and Jeongin is covered in Hyunjin's artwork. It has a very artsy and open feel that is very inviting after a long day of practice and lots of natural light.

Going back and reading what I already wrote to write the new parts has to be the most humbling and embarrassing experience ever. I am sorry for what I have put you through. Thanks for sticking with it!
