continue the story now

"I'M HUNGRY" Changbin complained for the millionth time that practice.
"WE KNOW" They all screamed in unison.
"Maybe we should take a break to eat. It's almost dinner time, and we have been at this since 6 a.m.," Hyunjin suggested, sweat dripping everywhere. It was the week before their performance at the Japanese Grand Prix, and they were working harder than ever to make sure their performance was perfect. After all, this performance was going to be aired to the entire world, not just their "small" fandom of stays.

Sae walked into the corner of the practice room and sat down, looking at the 200+ notifications from various apps. Seungmin walked over noticing her slightly annoyed state.
"Is it your parents again?" Seungmin  was the only one who knew about her parents still trying to contact her as he was one of the only people she could talk to that she trusted to not tell any of the other members. He also witnessed her almost throwing her phone across the room the second time they tried to contact her but we won't talk about that.

"Yep! 325 missed calls, 143 unread messages, and 9 unread emails in the past week. I'm scared they are going to show up at the race and I can't escape them"

"Did you tell Chan or Minho yet?"

"No and it will stay that way. I don't want them to worry about one more thing than they already are. Chan is dealing with a lot right now especailly with us starting to plan for a comback when we get back with all the solo songs. So is Minho he is worried about his cats and Jisung." Jisung hasn't been the same recently and all the members have started to notice. It's been hard to see one of us slowly slipping away without anyone being able to do anything.

Seungmin laid his head on Sae's shoulder "You need to tell them soon. They are going to find out eventually. By the way how are you two doing? Has he asked you out yet?"

Sae laughed "No he hasn't. We are fine I guess. I have a feeling he keeps trying to ask me but we have been so busy lately I don't know. How about you and Changbin" Sae didn't have to see his face to know he was blushing.
"I think its going? I don't know. We haven't talked much since the party. We only see eachother at practice now." They watched as a manager brought in their food.

"We should go back to the group. I am hungry and have one last lesson to teach before the Grand Prix." They stood up and walked back over to the loud circle of kids in the center of the room.

"Now that we all have our food, I need to give you all a final lesson on how Formula 1 works! It's not too complicated but I know some of you *cough* paboracha *cough* won't understand it even if I explain a million times." Sae wanted to make sure everyone understood the rules and everything else that goes on at a Formula 1 race so the members could enjoy it as much as she did.

She pulled up the slideshow on Chan's Laptop she prepared to explain everything:
(you can skip if you want)

"Yellow means slow down, Red means the race is paused and to return to the pits which I will show you when we get there

"Yellow means slow down,
Red means the race is paused and to return to the pits which I will show you when we get there. Both of these flags are used when someone has crashed depending on its severity.
Checkered flag means the session is over. This flag is used more than just the race.
Blue flag means your slow and need to let the car behind you go.
Green means you can continue to race.
White flag means there is someone slower infront of you.
Black and White flag means you are getting a warning about unsportsmanlike behavior or a penalty.
The red and yellow flag signals the track ahead is slippery.
Black with the orange dot means you have a mechanical problem with your car.
Black flag means you are disqualified from the race.
The black flag has not been used since 2007.
Thank you for attending my Ted Talk"

The members cheered for the end of her presentation.

"Now we seriously need to practice the anthem if we want to sound like actual Japanese people and not like complete foreigners." Chan stated and all the members agreed before spending the rest of the day perfecting their vocals and pronunciation.
