Part 9 ~ Back Home

Getting back from America was nothing like traveling there. By this point they wouldn't let anyone near the airport that didn't need to be there. They didn't need a third incident. It was much easier to travel through the airport without all the people. "One, two, three, four, five..." Chan said doing a head count for the fifth time since they exited the plane. He will never stop worrying about the members.

Sae was towards the front of the group with Minho instead of in the back with Chan because of the new dating rumors of them. Minho was trying to protect her being the older brother he is and kept her close. He remembered how hard it was when the rumors of him and Han first came out. They couldn't look at each other without people saying "They must be together, they are soulmates, just look at them!" and "He's looking at Han's lips" and vise versa. Why can't "stay" just give them a break?

~time skip~

Instead of going to the dorms, Stray Kids had to go straight to the practice rooms. Now that Stray Kids were back in Seoul, they had to prepare for their next comeback 5-Star. There was a lot of hard work to do including learning the new choreography and perfecting it, writing the lyrics, and promoting it.

Everyone was in the dance practice room stretching and getting ready for practice while Chan was in his studio preparing tracks. "Is he going to get his butt down here anytime soon? If he doesn't, I am going to fall asleep on this floor." Minho said not wanting to dance even though he was basically the dance teacher. "I'll go see what he is up to" Sae said standing up, "I'm also going to fall asleep if I don't start doing something."
"But what if someone sees you and the rumors get worse?"
"Ill be fine Seungmin"
"Ok, I tried"

Sae walked up to Chan's studio and knocked on the door. "Come in" he said. He had on a black hoodie and sweatpants as usual when he was in the studio. He also had on a beanie underneath his headphones. "Annyeonghaseyo Hyung! You coming down anytime soon? Minho and I almost fell asleep on the floor" Sae said cutely in order to convince him to get his butt downstairs.
Chan laughed, "Yes as soon as I figure out this one part. It doesn't sound right." He put his head down and banged it on the table.
"Banging your head on the table is only going to make you stupider. It won't help you make anymore oddinary songs" she said wrapping her arms around Chan's shoulders and leaning against the back of the spinney chair. "Play it. Maybe I can help with my limited experience of making songs." Chan had made almost all of her tracks previously and helped her express her lyrics with the rhythm of the music.
The first one was very high energy and had a unique change of pace and rap flow in the middle of it. The second was more peaceful and beautiful. (Can you guess which ones they are)
"These are perfect for our next comeback Chan! If your worried about it, play them in front of everyone else so they can help. Did you ask the rest of 3Racha?"
Chan pulled her arms forward and laid his head on them. "Not yet, I wanted them to be perfect first."
"Let's go down to the dance practice rooms and ask for their opinions." she suggested while standing up and holding out her hand for Chan to take.
"OK, let's go" he sighed taking Sae's hand.

They almost ran all the way to the dance practice room and only stopped when Chan almost dropped his precious laptop. He literally won't go anywhere without it.

"Hey guys! I have a few tracks for us to listen to for our comeback"
Everyone stopped what they were doing and sprinted towards Chan "YES FINALLY OLD MAN!" Seungmin screeched.
"Hey I'm not that old."
"Your half 52 this year so ya your old. I will only be half 44 this year"

The conversation continued while Chan was setting up his laptop to play the new tracks. Of course everyone loved them and Daceracha already had potential choreography flooding their brains. Everywhere you looked you could see the members bobbing their heads to the beat of the music and the funny expressions on their faces. Changbin and Han were thinking of lyrics for their raps and enjoying the uniqueness of the tracks. They weren't like anything they had done previously.
"Let's get to work! Fighting!" They all screamed.

Each member started working on their specific parts of the song. 3Racha worked on the lyrics with the help of vocalracha and danceracha started coming up with some moves that could work for the dance even though they couldn't finish it without the lyrics.

The members finished up for the day and headed to the dorms for the night before doing it all again tomorrow.

A/N~ Have you guys listened to 5-star yet? I definitely wasn't listening to it on repeat while writing this chapter. Also, is this book too rushed or do you want me to change who Sae or the other members are with if at all? Idk if that makes sense.
