Part 12 ~ Surprise

A/n: In honor of Lino and I's birthday's here is the next chapter! I meant to post this yesterday but I fell asleep so ya. Hope you enjoy it!

After vocal lessons Sae went to meet Chan in the studio. He was having trouble writing lyrics and wanted her help. Well at least that's what he told her.
They have been becoming a lot closer over the past couple of weeks. Even the members have noticed it. Sae was always in Chan's studio or room "helping" with the lyrics or pulling all-nighters with him because neither of them could sleep.

She knocked on the door hearing a "come in" from the other side and walked in. His studio has become like a second home to her.
Chan was sitting at his desk wearing his usual back shorts and hoodie, and a beanie.
Sae walked up to him wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him from behind. She wasn't big on physical touch but it was different with Chan. He grabbed on to her hands pulling them towards his lips and placing a kiss on them. Sae blushed at the sudden action and hid her face resting it on the back of his chair behind his muscular shoulders.

They stayed like this in comfortable silence for a while enjoying each other's company until Sae spoke. "Chan?"

"Hmm?" He hummed.

"I was thinking..." She continued.

"That's never good" He laughed.

"Ay!" She hit his shoulder and sat down on the couch. Chan spun around in his chair to face her. "Since it's Minho's birthday tomorrow, I kind of wanted to do something special. Like a surprise party or something but he hates surprises so I don't know."

"That could be fun. But what about you? It's your birthday too."

"I'll be fine. Celebrating his birthday is the same as celebrating mine. I've never really had a birthday growing up anyways so I am used to it."

Chan got up and sat next to Sae on the couch wrapping his arms around her and resting his head on her shoulder. "That doesn't mean we can't celebrate them both tomorrow."

"I guess. How will we keep him busy tomorrow though? It's our day off so he will be at the dorm all day."

Chan thought for a moment then said, "I am sure I can get Jisung to distract him for most of the day. I can also ask Felix and Hyunjin if they want to do a danceracha live later in the day. He also has his normal birthday live the company is going to make him do too."

The two finished up making plans for Minho's surprise the next day and headed back to the dorm to sleep.

Sae woke up and immediately walked towards Jisung's room hoping Minho wasn't currently in there like he sometimes was. It was only 8am on a day off so it was highly unlikely he was awake.
After knocking on the door Sae was greeted by a very tired looking Jisung. His mood changed as soon as he saw her. "Oh hey Sae! What can I do for you?"
She explained how she wanted to do something special for Minho and needed him to help. He gladly agreed and started getting ready to take Minho out probably on a date.

Now that he was finally gone the rest of the dorm could start getting to work setting up decorations and Felix started on the cake with Sae helping him."How do you think he will react?"

"I think he will be happy. He doesn't like surprises but if they are from me it's a bit different."

"Who doesn't love surprises?"

"Obviously Minho. Remember when we had a surprise visit from JYP and he was sulking in the corner the whole time?"

"Or when we surprised him with creating the dance choreography which he was begging to do and he left?"

"Haha those were the best memories."

"I think Minho is the comedian of Stray Kids."

"I agree. Are you ready for the comeback?"

"I guess so. I am excited to see how people like FNF since I help write it."

"It's really good Felix. I am sure they will love it"

"Thanks that really means a lot. Can you get the eggs?"

"No problem. Here you go" Sae handed him the eggs for the cake batter.

"So about twin telepathy... is it real? Will he know about this surprise before we are able to do it? Does he already know? Can he read your mind?"

Sae laughed, "Sure Felix. Whatever you want to think" They finished up the cake and put it in the oven to bake while making other snacks for the party.

Chan's pov:
Chan was helping set up the decorations when Changbin approached him. "Hey Chan"

"Oh hey Changbin! What can I do for you?"

"I hope I'm not overstepping but do you like Sae? I've seen the way you look at her."

Chan stopped what he was doing. "No why?" Changbin gave him the look. "Okay maybe a little bit but I can't do that to Minho. We have gotten a lot closer recently and I don't want to ruin that friendship or complicate thinks in the group."

"Well if you are going to make a move you better do it soon. Half the industry has a crush on her."

"She's friends with half the industry"

"Exactly! You better hurry up if you want anything to happen. She will be gone before you know it."

"Okay thanks. I'll do something by the end of the week."

"You better"

Chan got back to work setting up the decorations planning out what to do with Sae. Little did he know a little puppy was listening to the conversation. He also happened to be another one of Sae's gossip buddies.

A/n~
Do you guys like multiple povs or do you just want Sae's? I think it makes the story more interesting but I know not everyone likes them. Please let me know!

Also sorry it is mostly conversation and not much story. It was more of a filled chapter.
