The next day...

Leah's pov..

We're out right now. Me, jen, and Mariela are here playing golf.

Jen's showing Mari how to hit it properly meanwhile I watch them struggle.

Jen glances at me laughing.

"Okay baby, go." She said and leaves her there to do it herself.

"I don't know what to do!" Mari laughs.

"I literally just showed you." Jen exclaims. I shake my head smiling.

"Well show me again." She says. "Oh my god. Just try." Jen says.

"Ugh." She grunts.

She positions herself and hits it. She doesn't get it on the first try.

"See I told you." Mari says. "You're not gone get it on the first try." I said.

After Mariela finished, Jen goes up.

She smiles cutely looking at me and swings. I felt my heart melt. She's so adorable.

It takes her two tries. I go right after her and I get it on the first try.

"Of course mama has to be a show off." Mari says behind me.

"Don't be mad that you aren't as good as me." I said and shrug my shoulders.

We head to the next course and Mariela goes first again.

"Mama show me. Maybe mom isn't doing it right." She says. Jen's jaw drops.

"Wow, I see how it is." She says.

Mariela sticks her tongue out, teasing Jen. Jen just laughs at her.

I showed her how to do it and she got it on the first try.

"Oh my god! I got it in!" She squeals.

"Guess I'm a better teacher." I say to Jen. "You really are." She smiled softly.

I remember back to a few years ago when I taught Jen for the first time.

She was so clumsy and cute.

We get through the rest of the golf courses and then get something to eat afterwards.

We get seated and everything. We order our drinks and look at the menus.

"That was fun, no?" Mari breaks the silence.

"Yes, very." I smile and wink at her.

"Good. Because I had a lot of fun. I want to do more of that with you guys." She says.

Jen looks at me and pressed her lips with a soft smile.

"This is the first teenager I've heard that wanted to hang out with her parents this much." Jen says laughing.

"I mean, I don't see why. Just give me some places we can go to together." I said.

Mariela nods her head and goes on her phone immediately.

"-i didn't- mean right now." I stutter.

"I'm looking!" She smiles at her phone. Jen shakes her head and kisses her head.

"What do you plan on getting?" Jen asks.

"I don't know but I have something in mind."

"Okay. I Don't know which one to pick." She sighs.

I shrug my shoulders and feel my phone buzz.

I get my phone from my purse and see it was from Angelo.
