My Shooting Star

Chapter 5

Alya's POV
As we sat in the car, he played some music. "What are we watching?" I ask
"The Notebook." He smiled at me as he replied.
"I love that movie! It's my favourite." I replied and listened to the music smiling. When we got there Phoenix, bought the tickets and snacks and we went to sit down in our designated seats. The movie was just about to start as we sat down. I reached for some popcorn and my drink and watched the movie. When it was finished we both got up laughing about some of the movie and walked to the local park hand in hand.I set out the blanket I bought and Phoenix went to go get some food. I was cloud gazing when he walked back over with the food. "This has been lovely!" I said and smiled as he sat eating smiling.
"I am glad you enjoyed it." He looked up at the clouds and we laid down together smiling and watching the clouds. We laid like this for a while and when it started to get dark we headed back to Astra's. "Thanks for walking me to the door," I say and smile while he hugs me. "Have a good evening and let me know when you get home,'' I add.
"Of course, I will." He smiles as I open the door and walk inside. He walks back to his car and drives off.

Astra's POV
I hear the door shut and a car pulls away from outside. "Aly? That you?" I called out and no answer. She must not be able to hear me, I thought. I walk out into the landing and call out again "Aly?" This time I get a reply
"Yeah, it's me sorry, I couldn't hear you!"
"It's okay, how was the date?" I noticed she had a big grin and looked like she had a great time. "It was amazing! We watched the Notebook and had food at the park. We did cloud gazing, it was great!" She sat smiling. She seemed happy to be reminiscing about her day, I couldn't help but smile back at her. I still felt jealous but I'm glad she is happy. She deserves it after everything she has done for me.
"Let's go upstairs to bed? It's early but we can do facemasks and gossip?" I asked. "Definitely!" She replied and we walked upstairs and changed into our matching Pj's again. We put on facemasks and did some truth or dare. It was so much fun! We gossiped and ate snacks. Alya ended up falling asleep and I stayed awake thinking about everything. What happened with Leo and Capella? Will I and Leo ever be friends? Will Phoenix and Alya stay together?  They are adorable together, but I still feel jealous. Why do I feel Jealous? Alya is my best friend! I can't like her, can I..? I finally drifted off to sleep thinking about tomorrow and what is to come, hugging Alya just like we always do. It's comforting to know that someone is there.
