Astra's POV
He called me adorable! My heart started to race and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach. I try to say in the most normal voice possible "Why thank you." He just smiles at me again and takes my hand. When he lifted my chin up to face him my heart started to race more. His eyes were a deep ocean blue. He was blushing, I could clearly see that. "We should get going" Leo suddenly said and he turned and continued walking while still holding my hand. What did I do? I wondered as I was dragged around behind him. We walked around until it started to get dark. I held Leo's hand and we walked back to his car. The car park was completely empty as the cafe was closed. Leo played some music through his radio in the car and we slow-danced around the car park laughing and smiling. We got back in the car and he held my knee the whole ride home, I was smiling so much. When we got to my house I invited him in. I didn't want the night to end. I got some snacks and we watched a movie. He held me in his arms the whole evening. At some point, we must have fallen asleep as I woke up and was still in his arms, my head on his chest. The TV was still playing in the background. I smiled as I realized he was already awake "Why didn't you get up?" I ask as I yawn.
"You looked peaceful!" He said and moved my hair from my face. I smiled and hugged. He smiled and I stood up. "What do you want for breakfast?" I asked
"Pancakes?" He suggested
"Coming right up!" I replied and started making them. I look over at Leo. He has taken off his sweatshirt and unbuttoned some of his shirt and messed up his hair. He looks cute I say to myself.
"Like the view?" He asks all smug and poses.
"Oh shut up and eat your pancakes." I huff while putting them on the table. I then walk upstairs and get changed into a pink sweatshirt and some black jeans. I am just curling my hair when I hear the doorbell. "Can you get that for me!" I call out
"Sure!" Leo shouts back. I hear Alya start to question why Leo is here and then run upstairs. "So... Why is Mr Leo here then?" She says
"We fell asleep watching a movie," I say
"And why did you cook his breakfast?" She questions
"Uh..." I mumble trying to think of a response.
She smirks "So you like him then?"
"We had the cutest date! We went to the cafe and went for a walk in the park. When it got dark we walked back to the car park and no one was there so he played music and we slow-danced. It was a great night.." I say reliving the moment.
"You love him..." Alya murmured
"I don't know." I replied as someone knocked on the door. Alya opened it and it was Leo. He was blushing. "Phoenix wants you Alya" He said.Leo's POV
I heard her say she doesn't know if she likes me. Of course I heard her, I was listening in after all. I regretted it as soon as she said that. She shouldn't like me at all. I turned to walk away but she grabbed my hand and pulled me into her room. I sighed and sat at her desk chair.
Astra's POV
I watched him sit on my desk chair and sigh. "What's wrong?" I say confused.
"Nothing" He grumbles and leans back. I sigh and smile at him. "So what did you want?" He says coldly.
"I wanted to talk about us going out again?" I say hopeful.
"No. I am not going out again." He replies and starts to stand up.
"Okay that's it! What have I done?" I say stomping after him as he starts to leave my room
"Nothing," He murmurs.
"I mean it! What have I done!! Why are you being so cold! We had a great evening last night! And this morning. So why are you acting like this!" I say loudly and he just shrugs and starts to go downstairs. "Are you even listening to me!" I am shouting at him now, I hate arguing but if it's the only way to get his attention I will. "Just answer me!" I say and can feel the tears.
"I should never have stayed." He says while walking towards the front door. I grab his hand and pull him back!
"If you still hate me I get it! Just don't lead me on!"
