Alya's POV
As me and Phoenix got onto our seats I waved and winked at Astra. She smiled and winked at me. Leo and Astra were a few seats behind us. We start to move as the sun is setting "This is so pretty!" I exclaimed in awe as I looked at the views around us. "Not as pretty as you," Phoenix said. I noticed he only seemed to be looking at me as I smiled and felt my cheeks start to burn. As we got to the top we locked eyes and I leaned on his shoulder. "I love you" I heard him whisper, not wanting me to hear. I was blushing. We were stopped at the top and looking around at the views, well Phoenix didn't take his eyes off me. "Can I kiss you?" He asked "Of course," I replied. My heart was racing as I leant in and he kissed me. I felt sparks fly. Fireworks were going off above our heads to celebrate the end of the fair. It was perfect. Everything was perfect.
Astra's POV
Me and Leo sat in our seats. I was smiling and he was smiling, I think so anyway. He didn't seem to have much emotion towards me. "So...Uh..." I started and he looked towards me. "Spit it out." He said
"It doesn't matter" I sighed and looked at the view.
"No, I mean it. Spit it out!" He said again, louder this time.
"It doesn't matter!" I exclaimed and sat back in my chair.
"Sorry..." he mumbled. I just nodded and looked at the view around us. The sky was full of fireworks. I smiled and watched them, my eyes welling with tears.Leo's POV
I looked at Alya. Her eyes were full of tears and some were falling down her cheeks. I made her cry, why did I do that? I'm trying to get her to like me! I hate that I made her cry, again! I look over at her again and she is watching the fireworks smiling this time, but tears are still running from her cheeks. Her smile is so cute, she is adorable. I realize my cheeks start burning up. For fuck's sake I say to myself. She hates me! I made her cry multiple times. This can't happen! I start panicking. I look over at her and she is wiping her tears. I put my hand on her knee to try and calm her down. "Sorry..." I mumble.
Astra's POV
Leo puts his hand on my knee as I am wiping my eyes from the tears. I hear him mumble something. "What did you say?" I ask
"I'm sorry." He says. I smile a bit and nod
"It's okay. I am just over sensitive..." I say quietly.
"I know..." He replies and wipes the tears from my cheeks. I smile and lean my head on his shoulder watching the fireworks for the rest of the ride. When we got off and I saw Alya beaming, "You look happy" I pointed out smiling at Alya before mouthing at her "I need to know all of the details!" We all decided to head home as the day was over. I drove everyone and dropped them off. Alya and Phoenix didn't want to say goodbye. They stood at Alya's door for a while before finally kissing goodnight. Phoenix walked back over and hopped in the car. I dropped Phoenix off next so it was just me and Leo. "I want to take you out tomorrow. To try and make it up to you." He said as we started driving towards his street.
"Where?" I asked
"To a cafe, we can get drinks then go for a walk?" He replied before adding "I will pick you up so you don't have to drive."
I laughed and smiled then said, "What time will you pick me up then?"
"Ten am." He replied. I stopped outside his house as he smiled and took my hand. "Be ready for ten" he said before getting out of the car and going to his house.
