Astra's POV
We went to school the next day and walked into the corridor and saw Leo talking to Phoenix. "Should we go over there?" I ask Alya.
"Yeah sure," she said while walking over and hugging Phoenix. I followed behind her looking at Leo. He seemed to be distracted in conversation and didn't notice my presence until I said something. "Hey," I muttered to him.
"What is that bitch doing here Phoenix?" He snarled at me then stormed away. Phoenix glared in his direction and put his arm around Alya's waist to pull her closer. He then looked at me and said "Sorry about him. He is being a dickhead. Why don't we forget about him and go to our first lesson? It's maths so we are all together anyway!" He exclaimed looking at his and Alya's timetable. He knew me and him had maths together and Alya was in a higher class she moved down to join me, she is still doing higher work just in a new class. She was always the smart one out of me and her. So we all started heading in the direction of maths. What started as a lovely day turned into a shit day in the space of 15 minutes. I should be used to the harsh comments from Leo by now but they still feel like a dagger digging in my heart every time. All I did this time was say hello and he called me a bitch.
I was soon brought out of my wallow of self-pity when we reached maths. As soon as we walked into maths, Phoenix led Alya to a desk at the back of the classroom. Then we went out to our class and we both sat down together. The whole lesson I tried to concentrate on the algebra equations I was given to complete, however, all I could concentrate on was Leo.
Will we ever go back to being friends again?
Will he always hate me?
What is his and Capella relationship like now?
Does Phoenix hate him too now?
My mind wandered for the whole of the maths lesson and I was eventually brought out of my daydream when the bell rang signalling the end of the lesson. I grabbed my things and headed to my next lesson.
