My Shooting Star

Chapter 8

Alya's POV

Me and Phoenix sat down in our carriage hugging and laughing with each other
"I am so happy we are together," I say smiling
"Me too." He replies "How long have you liked me for then?" I added.
"Ages. I have always had a secret crush on you" He replied, taking my hand. We both sit laughing again and smiling. I sit as he has his arm around me. We held hands and enjoyed the ride.

Astra's POV

When the ride finished we all got off and grouped back together. "Anyone want to get some food?" I called out.
"Sure, hotdogs?" Leo said as he looked at the hot dog van parked near the waltzers, while everyone else just nodded."Let's go then" I called and we all walked over to buy hotdogs and chips. We walked around as we ate. There was a plate, cups and mug smashing stall, lot's of food stalls and even stalls where you can buy souvenirs. There were a lot of game stalls. "Anyone wants to have a go hitting the target? You can win a prize!" The lady behind the stall closest to us called.
"Look at the prize Astra! It's a puppy plush!" Alya called me smiling.
"I know it's adorable!" I said back smiling. I looked around and both of the boys were at the stall trying to win us the plush, Phoenix trying a little too hard. "They are so sweet!" Alya called while watching Phoenix try and win her the puppy smiling and blushing while looking at me. I just smiled and we both watched and laughed while Leo and Phoenix were being competitive. "And we have some winners!" The lady called out and handed Phoenix and Leo the plushies. They both walked over with the biggest grins and handed each of us the plushies. "Awwww thanks, Phoenix '' Alya called out and kissed him on the cheek. I saw Phoenix blush and kiss Alya's forehead.. They are such a cute couple I thought with jealousy before turning back to Leo and smiling. "Thank you!" I exclaimed and hugged him. "You're very welcome." He said.

Leo's POV

As I handed her the plush her face lit up. She looked like a kid at Christmas, I pondered to myself while smiling. All I wanted to do was try and make up for what I had done. She looked over and watched Alya and Phoenix smiling. She looked slightly jealous I thought to myself. She turned and looked back at me smiling and then hugged me. I felt even more guilty because all she wants is to have our friendship back. I can't believe I chose Capella over her. I hugged her back and said you're welcome for the plush.
