"This wasn't part of the agreement."
Mermutany grumbled as they wandered these seemingly endless hallways.
"Well too bad, you have to, we need to get the stuff on this list." Navashark shoved the list in her face.
"You do, I don't."
"Ya do."
"Don't."
"Do."
"Don't."
"Jeez, for someone who hates listening to squabbling, you squabble a lot."
"You squabble with Duke Fishron."
"For the last time, I'm not related to him!!"
"Who said you were?"
Navashark threw a pebble at her.
"Shut up you knockoff of a Dryad."
"Say that again and this 'knockoff' will knock you out."
"Then you won't know the way if I'm unconscious."
"I'm not even sure you do know the way, look at where we are!"
She spread her arms out motioning around her.
"I swear we have passed by that bookshelf around 6 times." She pointed to said bookshelf.
"Well, uhm, just because that bookshelf looks like the other bookshelves we've seen, doesn't mean it is." Navashark kept on walking.
"We just have to go this way and we'll find the exi- AAH-!"
Mermutany put the book back down and looked at the new crumbling cliff that was right where Navashark was.
She peeked down it. "Are you dead?"
"Nava?"
She didn't hear a reply.
So, she stuck her grappling hook between 2 rocks and jumped down clutching the other end, into the depths of god-knows-what.
The fall was a quick one, and her enviroment turned blue fast as she landed rather ungracefully in... mushroom grass?
That would explain the blue enviroment, she'd landed herself in the Glowing Mushroom biome.
She was slightly confused, as she didn't think this mini biome could be found around here.
But then who was to interrupt her train of thought other than-
"YES!"
Guess she had found Navashark.
He was on the floor, holding a small critter in his hands, his clothes caked in grass and mud.
He started dusting himself off the second he saw Mermutany, laughing nervously.
"What... are you doing?" She asked, looking him up and down.
He was out of breath and didn't say anything, just showed her what was in his hand.
"A truffle worm?" She said.
He nodded, still out of breath.
"Jack wanted to summon Duke Fishron for a while now, but," he paused for breath.
"he couldn't find this biome so I thought I'd get it for him!" he finished.
The worm wriggled out of his grip and slithered away.
"HEY!!" Navashark ran after it, back through the bright blue mushrooms.
Mermutany sighed, and followed him.
