Unexpected Occurrence

"Psssst, KOONBOAT! Psssst! Wake up!"

KOONBOAT opened his eyes to a very eager Meena Bubbles bouncing up and down in place. He checked the time. "3:32."

He groaned, "Go to sleep Meena, It's literally 3:32."

"But Koon! You said we could go on Nava's carpet and fly around everywhere!"

KOONBOAT sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, "Well I didn't mean in freaking 3 in the morning did I? It'll still be dark and if we damage that thing NavaSharK will kill us! So go to bed we can do it another time-" He got dragged onto his feet with Meena still tugging onto his hand. "Come OOONN! Please Koon! Pretty please???"

"No."

"Pleaaaaase!"

"No!"

"I'll pay for an ONG, Jack told me you ran out!"

"Just one?" 

"Fine five, but you have to come with me!"

Meena still determinedly pulling on to his hand they went out side where the carpet was waiting expectantly. She pounced on it, then extended her arm out so KOONBOAT could get on. Still grumbling to himself, he begrudgingly took it. 

"You ready?" 

"No, it's cold."

"Then let's go!"

They zoomed high into the air, and probably did a bunch of loops while they were at it. KOONBOAT was already getting sick, and they had just started.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Koon yelled over the rush of wind.

"POSITIVE!" Meena yelled back, trying to steer the carpet.

"DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO DRIVE THIS THING??" 

She was silent for a moment. 

"NO, BUT THERE IS A FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING, RIGHT?"

She sounded uncertain.

Meena finally got the carpet steady and turned towards KOONBOAT, "That wasn't so hard was it?"

"I will be forever traumatised." he replied.

"Don't be so dramatic! You weren't even driving!" 

"Okay fine, so what do we even do now?"

Meena pointed at the horizon, "The night sky looks beautiful in Terraria, and I've brought a little something to make it even more magical!"

She had a naughty look in her eyes and brought out a Bloody Tear from her pocket. KOONBOAT looked at it, then at Meena, then asked, "How is that going to help?"

Meena internally facepalmed at his stupidity, "It's a Bloody Tear, Koon. Used to summon a Blood Moon?" 

KOONBOAT's face was blank.

"It's going to make the sky look pretty and red and stuff, it'll look awesome, just watch!"

"The blood moon is rising..."

The sky turned a dark blood red, the water down below did the same. And the huge moon tinted pink right infront of them. 

"Y'see?" Meena said, grinning.

Meanwhile...

Mermutany woke to her health going down and something jumping on her head. As if by instinct she grabbed her dagger that was underneath her pillow and slashed it in two. As she leaned over to check what it is, she was met with confusion, "that's the goldfish I never bothered to feed." She looked at the bowl on the counter. Nothing was in it. She chuckled to herself. Obviously she was dreaming, but as she looked closer at the dead thing in the red moonlight, it looked, different. Not at all a derpy small goldfish. More like a monster. She was just beginning to wrap her head around it all before she heard a bloodcurdling scream.
