"Hey Meena!!"

Koonboat ran up and hugged her from behind the couch, only to accidentally drop the food that she was eating.

Koonboat's eyes widened as he saw the plate break and the food splatter and he began apologising.

"Look Meens, I am so sorry, I didn't see the..." He faltered as Meena didn't reply, didn't even seem fazed, as she left and got a dustpan to clean up the mess.

"Meena?" Koonboat followed her as she went upstairs.

"Hey, are you mad at me, I'm really sorry I-"

Her bedroom door shut in-front of him.

He got the message.

* * *

"MEENA!!" Navashark burst into the room.

"EGO ACT 3 JUST GOT OUT! THE MAN'S POSTING DAIL- hey are you okay?"

Meena didn't respond sitting at the edge of her bed, seemingly staring at nothing.

"Is your mind occupied?" Navashark laughed at his own joke.

Meena still didn't respond.

He sat next to her.

"What's wrong?"

She looked away from him.

"Meena?"

She put her head on his shoulder, still not talking.

"Oh okay."

* * *

"There's something wrong with Meena." Koonboat said aloud.

"No kidding, she isn't at all herself." Navashark replied.

They both looked at Mermutany expectantly, who just happened to come out of her room.

She looked up at them.

"I don't know what you want me to do, other than I don't want to do it."

"Mermutany pleaaase!!" They both said in unison.

"Meens isn't feeling her best and you are our only hope!!" Koonboat pleaded.

"Why me?"

"Because she admires you and can tolerate you, somehow." Navashark responded.

Mermutany sighed.

"Fine, I'll check up on her." She went upstairs.

* * *

Knock, knock, knock

No response.

She peeked through the crack of the door, and she was seemingly sleeping.

She entered anyway.

"Bubbles?"

She didn't respond.

"I know you're awake." Mermutany said.

Meena slowly turned her head to face her.

Mermutany sighed again.

"Your room is really cold..." she acknowledged, trying to make small talk.

"mmm..."

"What are these?" Mermutany pointed at a collection of handmade bracelets and a crocheted deer plushie.

Meena slowly sat up and picked the small deer plush and shrugged.

"...can I have a bracelet?"

Meena looked up at her, surprised.

She nodded eventually before whispering, "Only one."

Mermutany did as she was told.

"I never knew you crocheted, you seem really good." Mermutany continued.

Meena hugged the deer plushie tighter.

Mermutany felt a buzz from her back pocket and quickly checked it.

It was a text from Navashark, asking if it was going well.

She put her phone back.

"Are you okay?"

Meena looked up at her again, sighed and put the deer plush back where it was.

"I'm just tired."

"Well at least she spoke to you." Navashark reasoned.

"Should I speak with her tomorrow morning?" Jack asked, by now he knew what was going on.

"Yeah, see if she is willing to speak then." Nava replied.

"Wonder what's wrong with her." Koonboat asked.

* * *

"Hey Meens," Jack opened the door.

"Food delivery!" He smiled.

Meena was sitting up at this point, still in bed and staring at nothing.

She looked up at him.

"Your favourite!" Jack placed the dish on her lap, and eagerly awaited for her reaction.

She didn't say anything for a while, like the gears were turning in her head, but she eventually smiled up at Jack and thanked him.

Seems she was feeling just a bit better today.

She took a bite.

"This is really, really good!" She smiled up at him.

"Thanks! It was mine and Navashark's expertise." Jack told her proudly.

She raised an eyebrow.

"...eh mostly Navashark."

She continued to look at him.

"Fine ya caught me, I wasn't involved in the baking process BUT, I did think of the idea so I did help in a way!"

She giggled, which made Jack feel much better about himself.

Their plan was working!

"Anyways, enjoy!" Jack left the room, giddy that he helped in someway.

He didn't know what caused her to act like this, and he probably never would.

But at least they succeeded in helping their friend, who would do the same for them.

Author's Note: I'm actually going to cry this is such a lazy story/lh

Also I got a new oneshot book, if you would like to check it out I guess, it's not terraria related though, you'll have to see for yourself what it's about.

(it won't stop the stories here, i'm pretty sure, but I will probably be putting stories there more often as I have more ideas on that topic)
