“Hey!” Louis waved his arm frantically and as I arrived up to him with my broken wrist and wobbling legs, he pulled me into a hug, “How’s my Little Boo?”
“Little Boo?” I asked confused as we left the hospital, I breathed in the fresh air, god it was good to be outside again, Louis placed an arm around my shoulder and led me to the car,
Louis grinned, “Do you not remember?” He asked, “That was the nickname I gave you when we first met, in the hospital?”
“Oh yes,” I smiled with a sigh, “I remember,” Louis’ grin widened and he helped me into the car, then, he started the engine and drove me down the road, further in the direction of home,
It was two days later and I was now walking up the path to the front door with Louis who had driven me home. I was tired and annoyed that I’d been deprived of seeing the girls for so long,
As soon as Louis opened the door, we were both inside. I heard the girls gurgling from the front room and instantly dived in there,
“Bobbie!” Niall exclaimed, “You’re back!” He jumped up and hugged me, I hugged him back but winced a little, I still had purple blotches on my chest, sides and back.
“How have they been?” I asked pulling away and taking the nearest, Jaime up into my arms and despite my broken wrist, she rested there quite well,
“They’ve been great,” Liam and Perrie chorused,
I smiled enthusiastically, “Good good,”
“How are you?” Danielle asked tugging me down so I could sit down next to her and Poppy on the sofa,
“I’m fine,” I replied, “Apart from the obvious,” I indicated to my casted wrist, Danielle bit her lip, “Have they had lunch?” I asked,
Danielle shook her head, “Not yet no,” I handed Jaime to Danielle and got up, “Where are you going?” She asked,
“To get their formula,” I replied,
“Well I can get it,” Niall volunteered,
“No,” I said, “It’s fine,” I smiled reassuringly to them and walked to the kitchen where I rifled through the cupboard for their formula,
It seemed that since I’d been in the hospital, things had slipped down hill, organisation wise. Things were never where they were before, I pulled open the cupboard above the sink and smiled at what I saw,
The swear jar. I was surprised to see it full of folded five pound notes. I hadn’t known they were actually still using that,
Still grinning, I pushed it to the back of the cupboard and pulled out the formula. With a bottle in my hand I went back to the front room, “Which one’s hungrier?” I asked,
“I think this one is,” Niall said about Annalise who now sat on his lap, “But I can do her and no offence Bobbie, but we’re all worried about you and I think you should go and rest for a little while,”
