Chapter 13: Familial Woes

(This is gonna be a long chapter, since this is Tyler meeting the rest of the Addams Family, I'd think he'd fit right in, become like a big brother to Pugsley, Morticia would be his confidante since she knows about his mom, and Gomez would be like his second father, teaching him how to fence, Fester could help him with the Hyde training, and of course, he and Wednesday will get closer in a way no-one expects, enjoy the chapter)

(Wednesday P.O.V)

Uncle Fester was driving us back to New Jersey, Tyler was looking out the window as the trees became more undead and and depressing, "It's cool, I've always wondered how trees still stand after being dead for years" he said, I looked over at him, he was clearly in deep thought, not about the trees but something else, he was nervous to meet the rest of my family. "My family is very accepting, it makes me sick" I said, "Oh, a smother?" he asked, "More like both of them, they smother me with expectations, and each-other with lipstick and chains" I said. Tyler closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths, "That's a visual I want outta my head now" he said. Uncle Fester was laughing, "You kids, being all awful with each-other, it's adorable" he said. I held back a smile as Tyler opened his eyes. Thing was signing to the both of us, he clearly wanted to play a little bit of cards, "Okay, go grab the cards" I said as Thing jumped to the back of the cards. Tyler smiled at him, I never understood why but I feel that Thing was a real friend to Tyler, other than Lucas as of recently. 

Soon Thing came out with the Tarot cards, "I meant playing cards" Tyler said, "He must want me to give you a reading, I am trained in the arcane after all" I said as I turned to face him, "What would you like your reading to be about?" I asked, "Hmm, mainly the future, what'll happen after this weekend" Tyler said. I nodded and spread out the cards, "The first card will tell how this weekend will go for you" I said as I lay three cards out, the first card was the Lovers, "You and I will have a strong connection in the future, and we will only be broken apart by death" I said, "Sweet, lucky me" Tyler said cocking an eyebrow, I would be lying if I said I wasn't happy too, if I lost Tyler I would seek vengeance in the best way, cold blooded murder. The next card was the three of cups, "Three of cups, this means your friendships will get stronger, you, Peyton, Thing, Ajax, and Lucas will be close by the end of your lives" I said, "Okay, I love those guys, we're like our own little avengers, if you don't mind being Black Widow" Tyler joked, "Black Widows are the deadliest spiders, with a bite that can instantly kill a man as their venom is 15 times stronger than a rattlesnakes, I would love to" I said. I hate comics, but during our time together, Tyler showed me some marvel, and the Scarlet Witch is my favourite, but Black Widow I can live with, Pugsley would have my head if he knew I read comics.

The third card was an ace of wands, "This means your life will be filled with adventure, you will never feel the gloomy taste of boredom" I said, "Okay, my biggest concern was me being a dad" he said, I looked at him surprised, "I've always wanted kids since I was 15, I used to babysit before working at the Weathervane, they're tough to handle, but I got the hang of it." Tyler said, "Young Hydes.....seems interesting" I said, I honestly never thought about children, but hearing their cries fills me with dread, it was music to my ears whenever I was on a train with father. "It's something to think about" I said honestly, Tyler kissed my forehead as Thing crossed his fingers, "Yeah, I hope the boys swim too" Tyler said jokingly, I rolled my eyes at they man talk. Uncle Fester and Lurch tuned us out a long time ago. Soon I had an idea, "Remember that game we played when you first entered Nevermore?" I asked, "Yeah, What If" Tyler said, "What if you were accepted to the family by my mother?" I asked, "I'd ask if we could talk to mine, I'd be good closure, for both of us" he said, he was talking about his Hyde. "That's a gloomy answer, I would do it too" I said. "Okay my turn, what if I was accepted at Nevermore?" Tyler said, "Hmm, I would make you feel acquainted, introduce you to the classes, and probably get you to share a dorm with Peyton and Ajax" I said honestly, "Are you being nice?" Tyler teased, "Me? Never" I said. He then kissed me on my lips, they were as soft as ever, he was gentle and he smiled as he leaned his forehead against mine, "I love you mon ange noir" he said. It took all I had not to jump on him, Thing signed that he was happy for us, "Thanks li'l bud" Tyler said as I smirked a little.
