Chapter 11: Storm of Woes

(Tyler P.O.V)

We had to drag Xavier to the Weathervane, he was looking down in shame as Ajax kept an eye on him. "So you used to work here?" Peyton asked, "Yep, I made the coffee and other shit, hell it's how I met Wednesday" I said, "Oh, like Ross and Rachel" Peyton said, "She's more of a Monica than anything, Enid and Ajax are Ross and Rachel" I said, "HAHAHA!" Peyton laughed, "That's true, we're destiny" Ajax said behind us, "Except Ajax isn't an arse" Peyton said, I stifled my laughter as we approached. Xavier looked up, "Will the sheriff be here?" he asked, "Nope, and you should be thankful for that" I said trying to keep my Hyde under control. Soon we saw Lucas, he was banging straws and sticks on the table like he was playing the drums, soon he noticed us and waved us over, "HEY!" he yelled. When we entered he walked up to us, "Tyler, you okay man?" he asked, "I found out how my mother died, and how it's his dad's fault, you answer the question" I said angrily. Peyton patted Lucas's shoulder, "He's still struggling with the news, give him a minute mate" he said and Lucas nodded, clearly they were already getting along. "Nice to see you had a change of heart" Ajax said, "Yeah, sorry about the dance dude" Lucas said, he and Ajax shook hands. He didn't even look at Xavier, he only looked at me, "Why is he here?" he asked, "He's our only lead on his dad and Peyton's sister" I said as I growled.

After meeting with Lucas, we decided to head to the woods, Peyton always said that the woods were her hunting grounds, Lucas and Ajax decided to keep and eye on Xavier as Peyton, Thing, and I lead the charge. "WHAT?!" Ajax yelled, we turned and saw them talking to Xavier, "Yeah, she said this could help me get stronger, so she drugged me with a drink, I felt woozy, but after the wooziness, I felt stronger. We trained for a long time, even during my classes, after one session of training was done, we...uuh" Xavier said trailing off, "We what?" Lucas asked, "We....did it" Xavier said, "YOU SLEPT WITH MY SIS?!" Peyton yelled, "Not the point, the point is, she kept me in the dark, all she did was act like she loved me" Xavier said, "That's called a gold digger!" Ajax said. I facepalmed at that, Peyton looked at me, "Bro, I know you don't like him, frankly I don't either, but he's the only lead on my sis" he said, I growled at the thought of working together with the son of my mother's killer, but we pressed on. 

Soon we heard thunder, "She's close, we need a plan" Peyton said, "I can try to catch her, Ajax: if she gets outta my grasp it's up to you to get her stoned" I said, "I'll help you out dude, I'm acrobatic for a reason" Peyton said, Thing signed that Lucas could call for backup if things got ugly, "Good idea little dude, I wish I had popcorn" Lucas joked as Thing grabbed Lucas's phone out of his pocket, "All that leaves...is the bait" I said, we all looked at Xavier, "No, I'm not doing that" Xavier said, "You don't have much of a choice, you wanted a second chance, this is the way you get it" Ajax said, Xavier nodded and looked me dead in the eye, "This better work" he said sounding annoyed, "Oh, I'm counting on it" I said as he walked ahead. Soon Peyton screamed, "HIDE!" he yelled, we all took cover as Blake flew by in her storm cloud form, "Okay, these co-ordinates are just up ahead" she said to herself. She walked into a darker part of the woods, and we all came out of hiding as soon as she left. "Okay, come on, and BE...QUIET!" I whispered to the others.

We soon saw Blake in that crater Wednesday and I saw earlier in the semester. "Okay, I got the herbs, I got the words, now all I need is a clear head" she said to herself, "BLAKE!" Xavier yelled. Blake turned around, "What do you want?" she asked, "To talk, why did you do that in London? I thought we were good" he said, "If there's anything I know, it's to only trust yourself" Blake said, "Yet you trust my father, why?" he asked, "He said he's doing this for everyone, Normies can see that we aren't to be messed with, and outcasts will finally get fair treatment" Blake said, "He's lying!" Xavier said. Blake soon grabbed Xavier by the throat, "You're just like my brother, weak minded, feeble, and so..fucking...annoying" Blake said. I wouldn't let her hurt anyone else, so I transformed into my Hyde and lunged at Blake, Peyton rode on my back as he whooped and hollered louder than a bullhorn. "I GOTCHA!" Peyton yelled as he pulled Xavier out of danger. I held Blake down and roared at her, but she turned into her cloud form and tried to fly away. "OH NO YOU DON'T" Peyton yelled as he ran up my back, he turned into Shaq and grabbed his sister so hard she came out of her form. "Oh, now you've done it" Blake said as she turned into Rhonda Rousey, Peyton turned into John Cena and the two of them started fighting, I looked at Lucas and he nodded his head as Thing gave a thumbs up.
