Chapter 6: The Mountain full of Spiders

"Tanjiro what do you smell?" I asked Tanjiro who had a bad look after sniffing the air

"A lot has died in here, the smell is so foul and bloody" he said getting alert and worried

"Be alert everyone who knows we might fight an upper or lower moon"

Zenitsu was trembling, his eyes were wide as for Inosuke he seems excited to fight

What is that?.. we saw an injured demon slayer with the same uniform as Tanjiro

"Help.. me" The man said before getting pulled away by a... thread?..

Tanjiro was trembling by what he saw, he sniffed fear and evil in the air

"Tanjiro, try to be strong.." I was about to hold his hand so I could use my blood demon arts on him but he avoided it

"Y/n.. Save your blood demon arts for the fight.. we'll be fine" he said with a hint of fear in his voice

I just shrugged it and ran first, when I was in the woods it was full of spiders and spider webs. Creepy..

The Tanjiro and Inosuke followed me and we saw another demon slayer with straight black hair

Tanjiro approached him and they introduced themselves to each other

"Mizonoto!? Why didn't they send a hashira!? It's hopeless!" The demon slayer said making Inosuke punch him in the face

"Inosuke let him go" I removed Inosuke's hand from the man and asked him who he is and what happened

"My name is Murata, There were ten of us.. We were walking up but then the one in the lead started to kill, it was as if he was controlled" The man answered

Controlled? Hold on, that man before we went on the mountain..

"Tanjiro, people are getting controlled by threads. That man before we went here, he was controlled by a thread." I said

We heard a weird sound.. What was that?

Murata-san started panicking and said that he heard this, it was the sound before his fellow demon slayers started killing each other

A group of demon slayers came, they started to attack us. Worse part Tanjiro and Inosuke started arguing if they should kill them or not.

"Inosuke they're manipulated like puppets!" Tanjiro said

Puppets.. PUPPETS!

I remembered the thread of the demon slayer before we went here, it was around his arms and back

Without hesitating I held the grip of my scythe and cut something on their back making them stop

"Tanjiro there's a thread on their back! Cut it!" I said while cutting the other Demon Slayer's thread

As Inosuke started to be prideful again he cut the threads but then it regenerated, Tanjiro then covered his nose.

"The smell is bad and the strings quickly regenerate. We need to find the demon controlling this! Inosuke, Y/n if you have any abilities to locate the demon, try to locate it! My nose is too numb to locate it!" Tanjiro said

As Inosuke was about to locate the demon another one came

"Don't disturb my family.." The demon said

That voice.. I turned around to see Rui..

He gasped and tied Tanjiro and Inosuke in a thread and ran away

I called for his name but he never came back.. is he still guilty for what he did?.. it wasn't his fault..
