Chapter 13

Ruhi tried to calm her uneasy heart. She was feeling something was wrong. The way he left the room she didn't like it. It was her fault. She shouldn't fight with him. She shouldn't have pushed him when he is trying so hard to be near her.

Wrapping her saree around herself she went to wash her face. She wasn't feeling well anymore. But Riya was calling her.

Coming downstairs she came to know that Veer has left without having breakfast. Now ruhi was more upset. He left without eating because of her.

Ruhi's mood was gloomy the whole day even Riya tried to cheer her up but it wasn't happening. Ruhi was continuously thinking about Veer. He didn't even called her or messaged her which was something he used to do after going to work. But he didn't today he must be very angry on her she thought. Ruhi was having a burning pain in her chest whenever she thought about him.

He was always good to her. But it's her fucked up mind which can't handle his kindness. He has done everything she has asked him to do. He freed all the girls from brothel just because he wanted her to agree for the marriage. He even provided them work. Yes she got to know about it some weeks ago. She was grateful to him.

She didn't want any innocent soul to work in such a cruel place where no humanity exist. The scares in her was it's proof that how much sadist a human can be. She remembered his gaze when she showed him her scars, his eyes never showed a slightest amount of disgust. It was all filled with adoration for her.

Ruhi can't understand how a perfect person like him want a imperfect person like her.

She tried calling him but he wasn't picking it up maybe showing his anger. But ruhi's heart was shivering in restlessness. She don't know what is it. But she wasn't having a good feeling. She wanted to see him, hug him. She thought of messaging him.

"I am sorry, please forgive me for today" she typed.
She thought for a sec before sending it to his number.

The weather was taking a bad turn now. It was a bright day but it too started turning gloomy like her mood. She was missing him terribly.

Even Riya now noticed her gloomy mood so she went quite too.

The time passed too slow for her, but it did somehow. The weather was terrible. It was thundering loud. Ruhi was always scared of thunder. It takes her back to that day. To distract herself from it. Ruhi started cooking early today. But still her mind went towards Veer.

Naisha was observing everything. After their talk naisha really felt that she was judging ruhi way too fast. So she started observing her silently. Naisha noticed how happy veer and Riya were around Her. She seemed to be a good girl. But she was still careful about it.

Today seeing her soo restless she knew something was wrong. She couldn't stop herself from asking.

"What happened girl? You look troubled." Naisha spoke from behind as ruhi was cutting the vegetables.

Ruhi was startled. Moreover she was shocked to see Naisha worrying about Her.

"I-vo-" she stuttered nervously.

"Kya vo mai. Why are you so nervous. Is something troubling you" naisha asked softly this time not wanting to scare the girl.

"It's nothing" ruhi whispered.

"Tell me. Don't be afraid" naisha encouraged her.

"Vo- vo veer.  He is not picking up my call. The weather is so bad and--" ruhi lost words feeling uneasiness settling in her heart.
