Ruhi woke up when Riya came into her room to check if she was still asleep while poking her arm. She was gifted with a beautiful sight. A very confused yet focused Riya was trying to understand her. When she opened her eyes the little girl gasped out. Thinking she woke her up she immediately apologized.
After a while they started playing business together with the nurse and maids. They were having fun when they heard a knock. Riya ran to see who it was. It was Naisha.
She looked at them who were playing. She was wheeled near ruhi by her nurse.
"Kaisi ho beta ab" (how are you now) she asked.
"I am good mumma, pair ki swelling bi Kam hogyi hai. Aap kaise hai" ruhi asked.
Naisha smiled brightly nodding at her.
"Riya beta bahar Jakar khelo ab thoda" naisha urged her. Riya went away playing outside with the nurse and house helps.
"Tumhe jo bi sehna pada. Mere pati or bete ke vjh se uske liye mai bhut sharmina hu ruhi. Mai mafi mangti hu. I wish I was there to protect you" naisha spoke softly holding her hand.
"Nhi nhi mumma it was not your fault." She spoke immediately.
"Kidhar thi tum uss vkt tak" she asked carefully not sure if ruhi wanted to remember it or not.
But a very bright smile graced ruhi's lips as she started narrating about her kaka kaki. How she met them and how helpful and supportive they were towards her.
Tears filled her eyes she missed them already.
"Are ruhi beta why are you crying? Are you missing them. Tum unhe kuch din ke liye rehne bula sakti ho" naisha tries to console her. Ruhi nodded her head sniffing.
They continued to talk for a while about different things when Riya came in the room.
"Ruhu mumma will you make biryani for me please." She asked slightly pouting.
"Haan kyu nhi riyu. Mere bacche ko jo khana hai mai bnaungi" ruhi spoke caressing her head.
"Nhi beta. She needs rest abhi. Baad me khila dengi" naisha said. Riya's face lost its shine a little. She looked hopefully towards ruhi.
"Nhi it's alright I feel good now. I can cook for my baby" she said.
"K-kya hum Hamid ko bula sakte hai?" Riya asked nervously.
Naisha and Ruhi looked at her a for a moment before nodding at her.
"Let me call your brother. He will help us too" ruhi said calling Veer.
"Hello rooh. Aapki tabiyat kaisi h ab. Pairo me dard toh nhi h na. Kuch khaya aapne" he bombered her with questions. Ruhi's cheeks turned pink. Her mother in law looked at her teasingly. Before taking riya with her and giving them privacy.
"Rooh aap kuch keh kyu nhi rhe. Kya huaa baby btao muze." His worried voice filled her ears. She smiled to herself.
"Mai thik hu Veer. Swelling bi Kam hogyi h. Vo mai keh rhi thi if you can come early today" she asked.
"Haan haan why not. Aap bologi toh ghr se bahar hi na jau mai" he spoke lovingly.
Ruhi chuckled a little.
"Riyu ko biryani khane ka mann h. Aap ingredients le aayenge. Mai aapko message kar deti hu" she said.
"Rooh, didi ko keh do vo bna dengi. Aapka pair abhi thik huaa h na. Riyu bachhi h Maan jayegi" he said.
"Nhi mera mann hai. Or aap bi toh honge na meri help karne. Haina" she asked
"Ji ji bilkul. I will be there in an hour..take care my babies" he whispered softly. Before sprinting into action.
