Chapter 40

"When baba was the mafia boss, we used to live in a colony all booked for our gang. Even his sister used to live with us.

Hamid's father was his right hand. And we knew each other from childhood. Riyu was born much later after me. We had a huge age difference between us. Everyone adored her. Hamid and her were so close.

Buaa was the only family of baba. They both were unbreakable. The bond they shared was so pure and filled with love. After completing her studies. Baba was finding a match for buaa. Buaa already loved someone. The guy (Avinash Gupta) asked her to wait for him and he will marry her. But baba already started the search. So buaa asked him to hurry. Then the guy came with one of his friend to ask buaa's hand.

The friend was none other than Aayan's father (Nishant Rathore).

He was a known businesses at that time more to that he was into illegal business too. Baba knew about it.

He thought they were tricking his sister and Avinash was involved in it. So he rejected the proposal. But buaa was stubborn to marry him. Or else she won't marry ever.

Baba finally gave up and both of them got married. In between all this we clearly forgot the dirty glances Aayan's father was throwing towards riyu. He was trying to get close to her and she was a kid back then easily getting influenced by chocolates.

After the wedding. Nishant used to visit frequently after baba left. Mumma didn't like it and informed baba. After that baba banned his entry and he left in anger.

One and half year passed. Buaa was happy with her marriage. She gave birth to a baby boy after one year of marriage. Everything was perfect we were a happy family. Riyu me and Hamid were best together.

But after sometimes something weird happened. We started receiving bloodied dolls. Or some red roses covered in blood. All in riyu's room. Mumma was hella scared. She informed baba. He said someone was pranking on them maybe as her friends were mischievous.
But mumma was not satisfied. Mumma and me were trying hard to convence baba to increase the security. Even Hamid's father asked him to do so. But there was some mission going on so he needed his people there.

One day riyu left to play with her friends in the colony. It turned night but she didn't return so me and mumma went to search for her. After a while we came to know that someone came and took her. Mumma was crying mess. Baba was not picking up. She was blaming Baba for it. And she was right. Baba usually went in mission like that and we couldn't contact him.

After two days we tried finding riyu but couldn't. Baba came back after two days. We informed him about her. He started searching for her. Hamid's father was hella angry on baba. Riya was like his daughter too. And baba was careless in this matter.

A whole week passed and he still couldn't find him. One day he received a message, a video of riyu. Only after that he could track him. He came to know that Nishant was behind it. Baba immediately caught Avinash as he was Nishant's friend. Baba was still not fond of Avinash and was still bitter to him. He asked his men to inqure about him. And I don't know how but his men killed him.

Buaa became a widow just after one and half years of her marriage. She blamed Baba for all of it and hated him. And she blamed riyu too.

It was almost two week finding Riya. Finally because of Hamid's father we found her. Hamid and me were getting trained during that time. So we also wanted to go with them. But they asked us not too.

So we followed them. We reached the place and started finding riyu. We found a door when we went inside. Our heart broke. Aayan was injecting some drugs to my sister. And there were lots of other children too.

We immediately understood that it was matter of trafficking. We fought with aayan and freed the girls. When we saw riyu. Her face was turning blue. Baba and his men took control and after finishing them up we took Riyu to the hospital. We didn't knew Nishant was still breathing but to our surprise later we came to know that Aayan was the one who killed him and ran away from there.

When we reached the hospital we came to know that riyu was assaulted horribly. Her insides were damaged. And the flow of blood in her brain was so slow due to which she slipped into coma. There was no guarantee when she would gain her senses. Mumma was devastated.

Hamid's father and many other men left his gang. Because when the mafia boss couldn't protect his own family what else can he do.

After three months riyu gained her sense but she forgot everyone. We came to know that her mind has slipped into a baby's mind. And it is very difficult for her to grow as an adult. Her body will grow but not her brain.

Mumma left baba and we three shifted abroad. Buaa left him too. Everyone suffered because of his stupidity. I couldn't understand who made him a Mafia.  Me and Hamid were still training.
Baba was left alone. But after I turned 25 he called me back to take over the position of Mafia.

I did. I did everything to become the best Mafia. Everything was going fine. I was still finding Aayan.

After you went away. I came to know it was all planned by buaa and Aayan. She wanted baba to feel the pain he gave her and her child. And Aayan wanted revenge from me as I destroyed his business.

I don't know what will mumma say after knowing all this. But I promise rooh I won't let that man and his sister come near you. " Veer finished. Ruhi was hella shocked listening all this.

Her heart pained for her little baby. And she felt pity for buaa ji. Though she tried to harm her but she was in pain too.

"I-i do-ont know what to say. It's too much" she stuttered. Veer sighed and nodded.

"I will talk to mumma. She will decide what should I do with her husband and buaa" he informed her.

"Do you want to take some rest" he asked her she nodded still in daze.

He covered her up in a thick blanket and kissed her forehead. Massaging her feet he sat there till she fell asleep.

I understand the chapter is very messy and feels a little incomplete. But I couldn't process more. If I added more violence or detail I think they will take my story down now. It is already under shadowban. I don't want it to be removed now. I understand its very boring and everything. But after my story got shadowbanned I can't think properly. There is a constant fear that they will take it down. I didn't write much about riya's condition because ig such things are not allowed according to Wattpad guidelines. It's so fucked up fr. Can't think straight

So I have kept it simple and short just a little back story. I will be focusing more on Ruveer moment and will be giving some Riyu and Hamid's moment too.
Will be completing this story soon. Sorry for the disappointment you will be feeling after reading this chapter. But can't help it.
