*ABOARD THE BLACK PEARL*

As James walked onto the deck as he placed the goat onto the floor and turned to Jack as he dropped a bucket of water beside him.I looked at James and looked at Jack in the eye in disappointment.Why couldn't he let James off for now?He grabs James' hand,places the bucket handle in it and lets go.

"Elena!" Jack shouts slightly

"Your off,darling" he finishes

I scoff and try walking to James but am suddenly pulled away by Jack.Oh what does he want.He just smiled at me and looked me up and down.He walked away and turns to smile at me again.I raise my eye brows and suddenly break out into laughter.I don't even know myself why I was laughing.

I wake up to see Elizabeth sitting on the stairs and Jack beside her.

"I just thought I'd be married by now." Elizabeth said to him

"You know, I am Captain of a ship and being captain of a ship I could in fact perform a Marr-I-Age right here,right on this deck,right ... now" Jack said

Sparrow apparently thinks because I'm not falling for him Elizabeth might.Elizabeth looked at him in disgust and looked away.

"No thank you." she said

"Why not?We are very much alike you and I.I and you.Us." Jack tried to convince

"Exept for a sense of honour and decency" I interrupted them

"And personal hygiene..." Elizabeth said in disgust

Jack starts to smell himself.

"Trifles!You both will come over to my side,I know it,especially you,love" Jack said turning to me as he finished

"You seem very certain" I say as Elizabeth walked away

"One word,love:curiosity.You long for freedom.You long to do what you want to do because you want it.To act on selfish impulse.You want to see what it's like.One day,you won't be able to resist." He seductively whispers to me

I know Jack well.And I know for a fact he thinks I can't play him at his own game.Though he is kind of right I have had enough of corsets and being pampered all over my face with make up but I also don't mind it sometimes.

"Why doesn't your compass work?" I questioned

I have held the compass before in my hands.It only points two ways and I have no idea to where it points except that it points to James and somewhere else.Could it point to- no!I am engaged what am I doing!But it would seem fun to she Jack's reaction when he realises i have played him at his own game.

"My compass works fine!"

"Because you and I are alike,and there will come a moment where you will have a chance to show it."I say in the same tone he spoke to me before

"Does any of that include to do the right thing!" Elizabeth shouts over at us

I almost break into laughter but seeing Jack won't then I won't aswell.
