Flashes of the lights replayed in his mind.

The muffled sound of sirens played over the static of the radio and ringing of his ears.

He was hanging upside down, the seatbelt keeping him from the glass shards below, but also restricting him from getting a deep enough breath.

Luke was lightheaded.

"Mom?" Luke croaked.

The tears fell up his face in the weirdest way.

"Dad?" Luke cried.

He couldn't breathe.

Suddenly he was claustrophobic, tugging on the seatbelt as if it would break.

The sirens, god the sirens were so loud.

Flashes of lights, voices buzzing in his ear.

He shot up, people with blurry faces grabbed at him to keep him down.

Luke's eyes were wide, he was in the ambulance. His ears still rung.

"...You've just been in a car accident..."

Luke couldn't breathe, he fought to pull the mask from his mouth.

"Michael", He wheezed, "Michael."

"...Who is Michael?....Stay with us..."

Suddenly Luke was in the woods, running like his life depended on it.

His lungs burned as he spotted the ambulance pulled over into the woods.

There was a fire truck too and their combined lights were giving Luke a headache.

Michael. Michael.

All he could think about was Michael as he tore through the leaves and people.

He couldn't think straight- he couldn't breathe.

He couldn't lose Michael. He wouldn't survive.

Luke slipped through the barricade.

"Michael!" Luke cried.

A woman appeared out of no where and reached out to grab Luke, but he slipped right through her grasp.

Then he came upon the scene.

Michael was hanging from his ankle in a tree and Malcolm seemed to have gotten his leg stuck in a bear trap.

"Michael!" Luke cried.

A man stepped in front of him and stopped him from going any further.

He was a lot bigger than Luke, but that didn't mean Luke wouldn't fight him.

The woman who Luke had outrun caught up to them.

"Sorry sir, he's so fast." She huffed to the man.

"Get him out of here." The man instructed.
