Luke groaned as he came to bright and early the next morning.

Which earned him a kiss to the nose.

"I made my famous hangover cure and I've got an Advil with your name on it." Michael muttered in a sing-song voice.

"Don't wanna wake up." Luke whined.

"We gotta start packing everything into the truck." Michael jeered.

Luke puffed his lip out, pouting. Still not opening his eyes.

"Can we cuddle just a little longer?" Luke begged.

He felt the bed sink in beside him and arms wrapped around him.

Michael pressed a kiss to the crook of Luke's neck as their legs tangled together.

Michael sighed, "Only five more minutes."

It didn't end up being five minutes, because Michael was weak and Luke was so convincing.

About a half and hour later, all the boys convened in the living room to set up a game plan.

They started on the attic things first.

Luke climbed back up into the freezing cold room, this time Michael made sure he was wearing layers in order not to freeze to death.

The blonde handed boxes down the ladder to Michael, who set them aside for Calum and Ashton to carry downstairs and out to the truck.

With the four of them it didn't take too long.

Luke took boxes of old family photo books, memory keep sakes of his, and other sentimental things that his parents had shoved up into the attic.

After, Michael helped Luke down the stairs and they all ate lunch before continuing.

Pb&j was a classic.

Luke had made all the sandwiches and in return Michael wiped jelly onto his nose.

Which turned into a sticky food fight between them.

Calum and Ashton began bringing the boxes from Luke's room while Luke and Michael cleaned themselves up.

Later, Luke and Calum worked on the garage while Ashton and Michael carried the heavier pieces of furniture to the truck.

The garage was filled with mostly junk, but Luke managed to go through the majority of it.

He took the home videos and DVDs. He took the old cameras. His moms book collection. His dads records.

Basically he took whatever he could.

Ben didn't want anything.

He couldn't even be bothered to be there and help Luke.

Luke knew why Ben wasn't home, even if Maria didn't admit it.

It was the reason neither of his brothers had contacted him much since the funeral.

They resented Luke.
