"Luke?"

Luke's eyes opened and he let out a breath.

"I've been looking all over for you", Michael sighed in relief before shivering, "Jeez, it's freezing up here. Why don't I run you a warm bath?"

Michael held his hands out for Luke to come to him.

Luke was still processing where he was and what had been real.

He was kneeling on the floor and his hand hurt- that's all he knew for sure.

Luke made his way towards the ladder and climbed down it, instantly feeling the warmth return to his body.

Michael closed the attic door before kissing Luke's cold pink nose.

He dragged the younger boy into the bathroom, before filling the tub.

Luke took in his hand as Michael was distracted. His knuckles were opened up and he'd managed to get sliced a few times on his hand.

"The bath is ready." Michael gleamed.

Luke quickly hid his hand again as Michael approached him.

"First, I gotta clean your hand." Michael jeered.

Luke sighed like a kid caught red handed- literally- and hopped up onto the counter.

Michael found the Hydrogen Peroxide and bandages.

"What happened?" Michael asked as he gently dabbed a Hydrogen Peroxide soaked cotton ball on Luke's knuckles.

"I punched a mirror" Luke muttered, "Please don't be mad."

Michael sighed, "I'm not mad. It's my fault- I should've been here with you."

"No, Michael..." Luke started with a frown- he didn't want him to blame himself.

"I left you when you needed me. I should've- I should've stayed." Michael muttered.

"You needed to get Calum and Ashton", Luke quipped, but Michael wouldn't listen, "Please don't blame yourself."

Michael cleaned him up and bandaged his hand.

"I'm never leaving you ever again." Michael swore.

"Okay." Luke smiled and kissed his fiancé.

Having Michael around all the time, forever- didn't sound bad at all.

"How are you feeling now?", Michael quizzed, "Rate it from 1 to 10."

"Like- a six." Luke explained.

"That's good. I can work with six." Michael gleamed, pressing a kiss to Luke's forehead.

Luke wrapped his legs around Michael, pulling him closer.

"How about food? Have you eaten anything today?" Michael quizzed.

"Other than breakfast this morning, no." Luke muttered.

"Okay. You take your bath and then after we'll go get some grub with the boys, how does that sound?" Michael suggested.
