[Boruto P.O.V]

Relief flooded me when Sasuke Sensei walked through that door.

At least I won't have to explain the mark to my dad through a shaky and broken voice. I mean give me a break; I almost died today.

"We need to talk." 

Sasuke frowned, but was super serious.

Dad glanced back at me briefly, before narrowing his eyes at his friend. I gripped the sheets of the bed, feeling dad's anger rise. He seemed rather pissed off, which isn't unexpected with that fact that we lied to him and didn't say anything about this mark.

Of all the times, it had to show up now.

[Naruto P.O.V]

To say I'm angry, is an understatement.

I'm mostly made at Sasuke because he probably told Boruto to stay quiet, but either way, they knew about this mark and never told me.

Looking at Bolt, he quickly averts his gaze and I know he's probably in no state to talk. My rising anger probably isn't making him feel any better either.

I exhale, calming myself as i gently reach over and rub Bolt's leg in reassurance. He gives me a glance and half smile, relaxing, but then I turned to Sasuke, who was just watching in silence. I growl a little...

"Care to tell me why you kept this secret?"

I ask. Boruto flinched, which I felt through his leg, but I didn't look at him.I kept my gaze firm on my friend.

"We didn't know what it was." he replied, rather vaguely.

I turn back to Boruto, who looks up at me. I kneel down, staring at his arm and up to his face. I reach out, everyone in the room watching closely as I ran my fingers over Bolt's skin, noting how the mark was imprinted almost like a tattoo on his arm and face.
