Part 13 - Fear

After what happened between that other Otsutsuki and Takashiri, the next few days were very quiet. But for once, I just enjoyed the relaxation and little-to-no missions.

I knew Dad had cut back on the missions after what happened, because he no doubt had freaked out when Big Bro Konohamaru told him about the attack, but still...

I'm fine, and as usual, he's overprotective.

Anyways, it's currently 11pm at night, and I'd been laying in bed for a couple hours.

Getting to sleep was a little more difficult tonight, and it wasn't because of Momoshiki. 

He's usually filling my head with unnecessary thoughts, but it seems my own mind was being overwhelmed with questions, and I worried about what would happen with the Otsutsuki. Being attacked 3 times in the last few months, was really making me uneasy, and living with one inside my head, doesn't help either.

Takashiri on the other hand, has been hanging around the last couple days. I've only had a few brief chats with him, when I was alone. But even then, I still didn't have answers about why the Otsutsuki were after me.

Whenever I asked Momoshiki about it, he'd ignore me or was easily aggravated by the topic. And the worst part, I couldn't talk to my parents, or any of friends about this.

Takashiri was insistent on keeping his presence and my mysterious power a secret.

So you can imagine my frustration.

Rolling over, I closed my eyes and tried to quiet my mind.

After a few minutes, I drifted off but... that's when things got really weird.

I was having another dream, or at least... I think it was. This was kinda a recurring thing now with Momoshiki being a spirit that lives inside my head, but this... felt different. It was like I was there in person.

Standing in a void, I looked around, but then everything shifted, revealing a large room that was very grand and laced with white. Someone was sitting atop a throne, with their legs crossed and eyes closed - like he was meditating. Then another figure came rushing in...
