"I think this white dress is much better than this, " Mom said while showing me the difference between the two gowns.

We're attending a huge party this weekend for the 30th anniversary of Casa de Procesenium. My mom hired a lot of stylists and designers for us, my mom is a perfectionist. She dislikes being left behind in everything, even in small things. She wants us to shine in everything, and we must top in academics too.

"Sweetie, " Mom called.

"Yes?"

"Try this on," she showed me the box of a diamond necklace that cost a lot.

"Mom...that's so fucking expensive," I said. I wasn't shocked but I was wondering why she bought this.

"I work hard to make a living," she said while putting it on to me.

"That doesn't make sense, mom." Uimiling ako sa kanya at tinignan siya.

"It is, Lavinia. As I said, I work harder to achieve this kind of living," She said while caressing my hair.

"I know that," I don't understand her anymore, money and wealth changed her.

"Greet your aunties and uncles, swallow your pride for now."

That was the last thing she said to me before leaving me here alone at the entrance of the pavilion.

The homeowners were already in their seats, there were only a few elite members that already arrived at their seats. Vicente and Villegas arrived first before us with my cousins, so I immediately went to them to show my presence.

"Noah! Clint!" I waved my hands to them.

"It's been a while," Nag titigan muna kami ng sarkastiko na parang mga tanga bago kami nag yakapan.

"Gago, ang weird niyo naman." Sabi naman ni Noah at niyakap rin ito.

"Well, Clint is always absent and I feel relieved seeing him like this," I said.

"Masyado ka atang na popogian sa 'kin, pinsan." He chuckled.

"I can't say 'assumerong pinsan' since magkadugo tayo baka ma apektohan pa yung ganda ko." I said as I teased him by fixing my look even though it wasn't makalat naman.

"Hinding-hindi naman talaga 'yan maapektuhan, look at there.." Tinuro niya sakin ang direksyon."Look at them watching you from head to toe, and that creeps me out." He said before He could drink his champagne.

I was blank for a moment and my vision was blurred but when it went back to normal, I could clearly see who they were. I just nodded and gave them a smile to show my respect for them since they were part of the elite members, not because she's an elite member the reason I did that is that my mom is with him.

I was about to get mad when my brother showed up with his drunk ass. "Tangina, san ka galing?" Hinatak ko siya sa mag gilid at tinaasan ng kilay.

"She...she rejected me," he was crying like a kid so I fixed his clothes and brushed her hair with my hands.

"You should have told me kanina na mag nonomi ka, so I can have my shot too," I said while caressing him on my shoulder when he laid his head on mine.

"I'm sorry, I was scared to be judged by my own sister.." he even cried more.

"Don't fucking say that you asshole," I said at tinignan siya ng harapan para makausap ng maayos.
