I found myself sitting with my siblings and my father beside me, shaking my legs and biting my fingers, and I couldn't keep myself calm thinking if I should leave or not because of that goddamn missed calls and messages.

"You look bothered, Sister," Sage said while judging me as if it was the end of the world.

"I am. Now stop looking at me like I did something bad," I said leaning back to my seat and taking out a deep breath, Sage just rolled her eyes and reloaded her gun, and threatened the three of us with that fucking gun.

"Will you fucking stop pointing your gun at my head?" My irritated voice wouldn't be hidden anymore because she annoyed me too much.

"Will you stop being so obvious that you didn't read the new rules of Abuela?" my brows furrowed with confusion and thinking what the hell she was saying.

"Hindi mo alam no? Now stay still and let me fucking play or else...you'll get shot by your bestie," my jaw clenched and I can see her chuckle and form a smirk inside her cheeks.

But in the end, I didn't listen and I held her wrist instead and twisted them.

"Will you fucking stay still Chloe? You don't even know what's going on around here and you're not even paying attention to everyone here, can't you see our Mother sitting there as she watched her Son fighting with her client's kids while her son is already dying?"

Bahagyang napaatras ako at napabuntong hininga at hinay-hinay akong lumingon sa ibabaw kung nasaan nakaupo ang aking Ina na nakangiti.

Ibinaba ko ang aking tingin sa mula sa taas at nakitang duguan ang kapatid habang ang mga kalaban niya ay sinipa siya hanggang sa makabuo ito ng pasa sa katawan.

Sermon ni Sage sa 'kin ngunit hindi ko inalis ang mga mata ko sa aking kapatid at namuo ang luha sa aking mga mata nang makita siyang naghihirap at nasasaktan dahil sa aking pagkawalang silbing Ate.

Maybe, Sage is right and I couldn't get mad because she's right after all.

I laugh in disguise to myself. Kahit ako ay may sama ng loob sa mismong sarili na binubuhay ko.

"I fucking hate you! You don't have to fucking prove to us that you're really irresponsible by doing this!" ngayon ko lang namalayan ang hapdi at likido na umaagos mula sa aking palad kinuyom ko ang gawang armas ni Steven.

"Why are you doing this, Saive? Why are you being like this?!"

My whole body clenched when the first time I heard my Dad shout at me in anger, Dad immediately held my hands while Sage rushed to get the first aid kit. People around the Arena don't seem to care because if they do care...

Now I finally get what she's trying to tell me. I got tricked by my own sister to save Steven by getting myself hurt. If the heir will get hurt...then it's the end of the war.
