The next day for Maya was a blur. She didn't even know how she managed to function properly after that encounter with Carina and her proposition. She knew she promised herself she wouldn't do stuff with Carina again, but it seemed that just by being close to her all the rational thoughts disappear from her head. Maya was definitely perplexed by her own feebleness. She never behaved like this in her life. She wasn't a cheater, she wasn't the one to be led by her carnal desires. This was something new, something unpredictable and frightening but also utterly thrilling.

She was currently working at the counter of Joe's. It was a cafe owned by her aunt, just a few stations away from the university. Maya recently got the job though it's just part time, she really needed the extra money and didn't want to rely on her parents for that. It was a slow night, there weren't too many people, which allowed her mind to wander off... to Carina of course.

I won't do it, of course I won't. Why would I? Why am I even considering it? It is completely wrong, and besides there is Jack, and he respects me and likes me...and no, just no, I won't do it. Maya, stop thinking about it...now she was frowning as she debated with herself.

However, no matter how much she wanted to stop thinking about it she couldn't, and no matter how much she convinced herself she wasn't even considering it, she definitely was. Every now and then, her thoughts would wander to how it would feel holding Carina in her arms, caressing her beautiful curvaceous body, and exploring her with her lips, everywhere.

What is she doing now? Is she thinking of me, like I am of her? Maya thought of Carina dreamily again as she propped her elbows on the counter. Why does she have such a pull over me, I don't understand...And what does she want of me, is it just sex? Why me? Do I really like her? I mean no I can't. It's impossible, just no, and she is Carina. And stop thinking of her again...urghh . Maya slouched on a counter in resignation and started banging her forehead on the counter in frustration.

"What is she doing to me?" Maya whispered to herself as she repeatedly banged her head on the counter.

"Umm Miss...are you ok?" a bewildered voice caused Maya to jump straight up. Her cheeks flushed in embarrassment for being caught in such a position she responded "Oh yes, of course, I apologize, I was just..." she trailed off, her checks becoming a darker shade of red.

"Anyways, what can I get you?"Maya asked the customer, clearing her throat slightly, still embarrassed.

"Just a regular coffee please." the lady said politely, amused by the girl in front of her.

"Right away." Maya smiled trying to compensate for the embarrassing first impression.

What should I do about you Carina? she sighed heavily as she turned to the machine to brew the coffee.

So many questions and still no answers whatsoever

It was almost midnight when Maya was able to get back at her dorm building, really exhausted from her day. She pressed the elevator button then leaned back at the wall, closing her eyes for a bit until she reached her floor.

She sighed in relief as she was finally gonna to be able to rest. She didn't just feel physically exhausted but mentally as well. She opened the front door of her dorm but she was not expecting the next she saw when she got inside

"You're back?" Maya asked totally surprised to see the other girl sitting on the couch watching tv

"Well, yeah. I still live here don't I?" carina said as if she was just pointing out the obvious, not even giving Maya a single look.

"Okay....?" The shorter girl replied to Carina, who was still not looking away from what she was watching, acting like everything was just normal. "I'll just go to my room" Carina said, hoping for at least a little acknowledgement from the girl but Carina didn't reply.
