It's been a month since Maya accepted Carina's proposal. Carina walked hastily from her building to the school entrance. Where she met with her “friends”.

“Morning” Carina greeted Amelia and Erica. The girls noticed Carina was chirp and happy this past month, and they were dying out of curiosity to know the reason. Erica shot Amelia a curious look as they noticed Carina smiling to herself.

"You seem happy these past couple of weeks" Amelia said to the brunette.

Carina turned around to look at her direction and raised her eyebrows.

“Really? And why do you think that?" Carina squinted at Amelia.

"I don't know, you just smile often"

"So you want to say that I don't smile enough usually?" Carina challenged her.

"Uh no, that's not what I meant....never mind." Amelia trailed off.

"You girls should really just mind your own business, you know?" Carina said, smiling at them sweetly.

Carina hates it when people notice these things about her. It makes her feel vulnerable in front of them so she just ignores the question by being her indifferent self.

They all went to class then a few hours later she finds herself at the university cafeteria still followed by her new group of friends. Throughout the course of their “friendship” she’s found many interesting things about these girls like how Erica has this picture of her and a business partner of her dad that was triple her age doing a lap dance shown to her by Addison. She laughs at how these girls are in reality just backstabbing each other. They are great company though because if not for them she wouldn’t have had the connections she has around the university now.

She turned her head to the corner and her heart immediately swelled at the sight as she didn’t expect Maya to be here as well. She was sitting alone with her earphones plugged in. Looking absentmindedly through the window of the big cafeteria. Carina had to fight off a smile at the sight of her. She had to remain composed because she didn’t want anyone to notice any of her emotions as it was a sign of weakness.

She glanced at Maya a couple of minutes later. Then noticed the blonde haired girl was also looking at her too, and smiling knowingly. A small smile fought its way on Carina's lips, she couldn't help herself this time. This weird fluttering is happening a lot lately. Maybe I should see the doctor about this Carina thought as her heart fluttered yet again just at the mere eye contact with Maya.

Everything around them was passing by slowly, not even caring about anything else other than each other. Carina stole glances at Maya every now and then, just to realize that Maya was doing the same thing. She couldn't help but smile a bit each time. This past month has been interesting at the very least for Carina. They've been at it all the time, Carina just couldn't keep her hands off of Maya. The brunette sighed as she remembered their ministrations around the campus whenever they text each other to meet up during their short breaks as they couldn’t wait to get to the safety of their dorm.

All of this sneaking around excited Carina  terribly. It was dangerous and reckless but also made her feel so alive. She loved the adrenaline rush as they would have to keep quiet, and she loved the thumping of Maya's heart against hers when they would stand naked entangled in each other, and waiting for the person to leave. And of course Carina  loved it the most when it was just the two of them, alone. Not having to hold back with each other. She loved hearing Maya call or better say scream her name in ecstasy. The brunette could feel herself getting aroused just by thinking of it.

The only thing she regretted a tiny bit is the stupid Rule #2. Why did I have to come up with it? Carina wanted to mentally slap herself as she thought of the first official night of sealing the deal, when she was laying naked in Maya's embrace. Now, thanks to that dumb rule she can't feel that again. Couple of times Carina wanted to just swallow her words and beg Maya to stay with her, but that just wasn't her style. She was a woman of her words, and it was probably for the better. More nights like that one, and she wasn't sure if she would ever allow Maya to leave her bed again. Carina couldn't allow herself to be vulnerable, despite wanting to let Maya in more and more each day.
