Picking up my kit bag and my luggage for the one night stay in Manchester, I headed towards my door. Today was the day we traveled to Manchester with arsenal for the game against Man U, but most of all, I was spending the evening with Ellie.

The car journey to the training ground was the usual fifteen minutes. I got out of my car with a sort of skip in my step. making may way to where the girls were stood, I was met with many amused looks from most of them which I just smiled back at.

"someone is happy," Caitlin said as she nodded towards me.

"Yeah, why so excited T?" Katie shouted and I just shrugged. none of the girls knew about me and Ellie yet. of course they had seen the games but that's nothing. Leah was the only one who knew anything right now and it was obvious by the smirk that had made it's way to her face.

The girls made their way onto the bus, me and Leah being last on. Just before I stepped on, Leah pulled me back and whispered in my ear.

"Am I the only one who knows?"

"Yes, so wipe that smirk of your face," I joked and stepped onto the bus, taking my seat on my own. I usually would sit by someone but I was planning on moving later on in the journey. I smiled at the thought that last time I did this I was asleep on Ellie within seconds.

Placing my phone in my pocket, I rested my head on the head rest and let my eyes drop until I was asleep.

-

I was awoken by a loud cheer at the back of the bus. The noise caused me to peak around my chair and see that the girls were attempting to bottle flip into one of the cup holders, Katie of course being the one to start it.

Leah, who had noticed me looking, shouted, "they're weird," and I laughed at her game face. I stood from my seat after checking the time, we had an hour left. I made my way to the back of the bus and had a go myself. surprisingly I did it first try and all the girls looked amazed.

I just laughed before sitting on the seat besides Leah.

"you good?" I asked the blonde and she just nodded. "you sure?" I asked again and she sighed.

"Just have a bad feeling about tomorrow , I haven't been able to walk onto the pitch without a mental or physical worry since November," She explained and I just nodded. I knew how it felt to not feel ready for matches, and I know the fear of injury is huge.

"you're strong Leah, and you're a strong player too, what happens will happen but I believe in you," I reassured her and she moved over to rest her head on my shoulder.

"let's talk about you, will take my mind off of it for a while," she suggested.

"Leah you know everything about me, I don't know what I'd say,"

"tell me about Ellie,"

A smile formed at the mention of her name.

"I really like her Leah... so much, and I was thinking..." I paused, thinking whether I should tell Leah or wait till I had asked her to tell her.

"you've been thinking what?" she smiled as if she knew what I was going to say next.

"I want her to be my girlfriend, but is it too soon?" I ask, just like I had Sammy.

"T it's been two weeks, and you clearly care about her a lot, plus, most gays are girlfriends after the first night so don't worry about that," she said and I laughed at her comment.

"you're right, When should I do it? I'm seeing her tonight but I want to plan something special," Leah nodded in thought before responding.

"after the game tomorrow, hopefully we will be on a high and it will be perfect for you," She said and I liked that idea straight away, "it doesn't have to be huge, just you and her," Leah added and I smiled at the blonde who had placed her head back onto my chest after talking to me.

Leah really had become the big sister that I always needed. Apart from Sammy she was my best friend and I don't know what I would have done without her here. I'd have no one to send fit checks to or ask for fashion help. I'd have no one to call when some relationship had gone wrong in my personal life and I had some tea to spill. She knew me on another level and I loved that about us.

"Thanks Le," I said and she hummed in response before falling asleep on my chest for the rest of the journey.

-

"Hey Le, we're here," I whispered, stroking the blondes hair gently to wake her up. surprisingly it didn't take long to wake her up and get her off the coach into the hotel we were staying at for the night. I had messaged Ellie when we were five minutes away and she said she would start making her way to the hotel.

As usual, I was in a hotel room with Gio, us two being some of the youngest on the team. We parted ways with Leah and made our way to our hotel room where Gio flopped onto one of the beds.

"Right, I'm going out but I shouldn't be back too late..." I said, after changing into some cargos and a corset top.

"who are you all dressed up for?" Gio laughed. I paused thinking whether I should tell her not but I decided other wise and just tapped my nose at her. she giggled before allowing me to leave.

As I left the hotel, I walked for about two minutes until I saw her there, stood by her car waiting

I had missed her way too much...
