Jin looks in the mirror and wonders if his choice of outfit is too basic for a date. Purple graphic t-shirt and faded blue jeans. Not that he didn't want to make an effort, but he is going to dress and undress, trying out multiple suits later on. It can be a hassle if he wears something fancy. No accessories, make-up, nothing. He looks at the side table, took his lip gloss and dab a bit on his luscious plump lip. He is ready.
He still finds it a bit awkward with Bogum, and so he had asked to meet at the boutique directly. He took his small LV sling bag, switching off the lights, opened the door getting ready to leave, and to his surprise he sees Jungkook leaning at the wall outside his apartment.
"Finally. What took you so long?" Jungkook looks so boyfriend-ish with his wavy hair, blue faded jeans, loose white dress shirt purposely leaving few unbuttoned and the way he roll up his shirt sleeve showing his strong hands to the extend Jin didn't realize he has been shamelessly checking his Jungkook out, totally ignoring Jungkook's word. "Jinnie?"
"Huh? Oh! Kookie why are you here? I thought I'm supposed to meet you there directly? And you could've just waited inside. You knew the pass code." Jin began rambling to cover up his embarrassment. He looks down at his outfit and regretted, why suddenly he decided to be practical of all days. "Ouch!" Jin looks up at Jungkook, after his cheeks was treated like some mochi. "Cutie. Stop pouting will you? I came by earlier and cause I heard your loud hymn, I thought you'll be out soon. Who knows, you'll be in there like forever. Anyway, since we have some time, lets go have a quick breakfast ok?"
They were walking towards the car, when Jin suddenly grab hold of Jungkook's wrist, "Kookie, we can't!" Jungkook was perplexed with Jin's panicked voice, "We can't?" Instead of saying, Jin shows his phone to Jungkook. Jungkook calmly took the phone, and sees a message from Bogum? *Kim Seokjin-shi, I'm already here.* Though he has a lot of questions in his mind, he let it passed for now especially seeing how anxious Jin is. "Jinnie-ya.. We'll go there. But you need to introduce me to this Bogum guy ok?" "Okay." Jin didn't know why he felt guilty towards Jungkook. He should've at least informed Jungkook to be fair. Well, at least Bogum knew who would be around.
There were two person outside the boutique, waving enthusiastically at both Jin and Jungkook. Jisoo came to hug Jungkook, "Jisoo? Why are you here? And you must be Bogum right?" Bogum was taken aback, and after he sees Jin nods, he extends his hand to exchange greeting with Jungkook. "Park Bogum. You must be Jin's best friend, Jungkook-shi, right?" Jungkook unintentionally smirked, dismissing at the choice of word best friend, "Best friend? Well, Jin is more than that, he is family." Bogum was uncertain, but he still maintain his composure "Ah... Anyway congratulations and thanks for the wedding invite." which makes Jungkook eyes widened at the new information.
"Wow! Jin you're well-loved by everyone. I thought it would be just you and me. Anyway, its good to see all of you! Oh the weather is scorching hot ya, lets all go in!" Wendy, the wedding planner, trying to defuse the situation. "Everyone you can take a seat at the lounge. Jin deary, follow me. Let's try on a few suits ok." Jin smiled at the rest before following Wendy for his fitting.
Before Jisoo could break the ice, Jungkook with his deep voice starts interrogating Bogum making the situation even tense.
JK: Jin invited you to the wedding?
Bogum: He did. Yesterday.
JK: How long have you known Jin?
Bogum: Quite awhile actually. We're both models.
JK: Are you serious with Jin?
Bogum: I want to. Jin is nice. I've always liked him. Well he doesn't know that.
JK: Don't get me wrong. You don't seems close to him.
Jisoo: Hahas. Jungkook, I'm sure they are just in the starting phase right?
Bogum: Oh yes. This is actually our second date.
Jisoo: Wow. You must be serious then. People would freak out if this is the second date.
JK: Its just a fitting. What's there to freak out.
"Everyone! Sorry to interrupt. FYI, Jin fell in love with this suit, so he is just going to choose this regardless of the comments. Since he was so sure, we did the make-up and styling too. So without further ado, lets draw the curtain."
There Jin stood shyly at the podium. Wendy stood aside after hyping the best man and observed the facade of the people that mattered to Jin. Well, maybe only two person that mattered cause, one looks clearly annoyed.
"Err... what do you guys think?"
Without hesitation, Jungkook candidly "Jinnie, you look pretty."
Jisoo trying her best to maintain her cool, "Hahas. Jungkook-ah you're funny. Jin you're handsome as usual. What do you think of your date Bogum-shi?"
Bogum was enchanted by Jin's beauty. He didn't say anything, but his silly smile shows a lot of how he approved of this Jin. Jisoo who saw this, teased him further "Aww~ you're into deep. Jungkook-ah, lets leave and give them their moment."
"Why would we leave? Anyway Wendy, see I'm right. Jinnie would definitely choose this!"
Wendy just smiled and nod, but her inner voice says otherwise "This Jungkook is killing me, should I ask for a raise. Aish. Will I even get the remaining payment? Damn it! Should've asked for 90% advanced payment. That's it next couple, I shall demand for full payment first."
"Wait. Jungkook? You mean to say you chose the suits beforehand?"
"Jisoo-ah, of course. I told Wendy, I knew Jinnie's style. So I came the other day and handpicked this outfit. Jinnie you look pretty."
In her low voice, "Jungkook. You didn't even choose my wedding outfit."
"Well, you said you want to do fitting with your family."
"Oh hahas, yes, how can I forget. Anyway we are done here right? Jungkook lets go, and not disturb this two lovebird further. They have date after this."
"Wa..."
"Jungkook quick, mom called earlier on she wants to discuss about our wedding details over dinner. Enjoy your date both of you!"
"Hmmm... okay..."
And there left Jin and Bogum. Jin who was flustered and Bogum, though his facade may given the impression of a blank paper, he clearly isn't. He had easily catch on the unique dynamic of Jin and Jungkook even during this short period. Though Jungkook is going to get married, he shouldn't be too complacent as he is still not out of the equation yet. He knew he needs to work harder to pursue his love interest. But for now, let him comfortably admire the beauty that is in front of him in peace.
