It has been weeks since Jin left, yet Jungkook was still brooding over it. There is certain guilt he is feeling, especially after he had asked him to leave. He had tried to make contact with the people he knew, however none had any contacts with Jin. He even went to the agency, and was informed he had left the country?
Jisoo has been walking on eggshells ever since. She has been giving some space for Jungkook as he was still hung up over Jin's sudden appearance, but it has been weeks since he's already gone. Jungkook came back home with his disheveled hair, unkempt look and a strong alcohol smell. Jisoo has had enough of this, "Oppa, this is too much. Jin is already out there living his life and what's with you here?" Jungkook continues to sway as he tries to walk, but was being stopped by Jisoo, "Oppa, you need to live your life. You're literally drunk every day. At the rate you're at, maybe its true what my friends said, you like Jin."
Jungkook looks at Jisoo with vengeance in his eyes as he holds her, "Of course I like Jin. I told you before what we went through. We're both abandoned kids, we had no one by our side. No family wanted us. No adoption, no foster picked us, we only had one another till we're told to leave the orphanage. Now tell me, is it wrong for me to care for Jin?"
"Then Oppa what about me? Do you care about me? I've been holding you for the past weeks, but you treat me as though I'm invisible." Jisoo shouts back with tears.
"Give me some time, will you Jisoo-ya. I'm still getting over it."
"How long more Oppa? I don't think I can hold on to any longer if you continues this way. Maybe you should just sell this house. Will you?"
"Will I what Jisoo-ya?"
"Will you sell this house?"
"I'll give a call to the property agent tomorrow."
The next day, the couple went to the property agent to put up the house for sale. They were told to wait awhile, as it would take some time for the house to be placed on listing and to receive offers. The couple were kinda prepared for that, however what they didn't expect however was to receive a callback with offer few days later.
"Oppa! Didn't know the value market for this apartment is high! We're so lucky!"
"You're indeed lucky. Now, if you agree with the terms and wish to proceed, you may sign this contract."
"The owner is not around to sign the contract?"
"Well the owner is a busy person, and so the lawyer is here to represent the owner. So do you wish to proceed, Mr Jeon?"
"Hmm... By when do I need to leave the house?"
"Well, lucky for you there isn't any timeline. So you can take your time. But I would strongly advice to get it cleared by end of this month."
"Its ok. There's nothing much left anyway, since we've already move out. I'll get it done by this weekend."
"Great. You may drop off the key here once you're done."
After they're done, Jungkook informed Jisoo he had to leave for work and so they split. Only for him to actually went back to the apartment alone. He looks around the house, unknowingly tears starts to fall. The house used to be lively with him and Jin, he remembered how they were jumping with joy having a house of their own at last. Now, its just an empty space. Ever since Jin's left, he has been avoiding to enter the room. But now, he had no choice but to clear. The room was neat, despite everything. He took out all the clothes from the closet and collected all the photo frames of theirs, packed nicely in the luggage. He looks around there is nothing left. And he was pleased for a moment, for at least Jin took the RJ plushie that he bought with him.
"Goodbye." And he switched off the light and left with the luggage.
