Jungkook naturally stood up and happily hugged Jin whom he dearly missed. "Jin! I finally found you!" Jungkook unknowingly teared as he embraced Jin. Jin however didn't react much, rather stood still unsure how he should deal with the situation. Jin looks at his friends, asking for help, but all he sees was them encouraging him to return the hug to Jungkook. With awkward hand gestures, he placed his hand at Jungkook's back.
"Kookie, you're hurting me."
"Oh! I'm sorry. I must've hold you tight. I was just too happy to see you Jin."
"Good to see you too Kookie. You've met my friends?"
"Yes, I happened to meet Tae when I came by to our previous apartment and he invited me here."
"You came by? Why?"
"I missed us."
Yoongi: Hey guys. We're here FYI. You wanna tell us about the guy Jin?
Tae: How's your fucking date goes? Did he compliment you on your getup?
JK: Wait. Jin? You're the new owner?
Jimin (whispered at Tae): You had to bring it up.
Tae (mouthed to Jimin) *sorry*
Jin: Yes. I bought it over. I can't seem to find other apartment.
JK: Why didn't you tell me? Hold up. Did you guys know all along?
Hoseok: JK. Jin doesn't know that we knew.
JK: So you guys are aware. I felt stupid. Whatever. Jin is there a reason why your friends doing this to me? Did I do something wrong? Cause if really you don't want to see me anymore, then I'll leave.
Namjoon: JK chill will you. Jin seems overwhelmed.
JK: Yes, I get it. Nice to meet all of you and you too Jin. Its good to see you're living well. I'll get going then.
Jin was trying his best to hold on the tears, however failed once Jungkook had left. Jimin quickly went over to comfort Jin who starts to hyperventilate, "I've never stop missing him every single day. You know right. I missed him very much. It hurts." Jimin slowly detach himself and holds Jin's shoulder, "I know, we all know. But you're being unfair to Jungkook. He is hurting too. You're the only family he has Jin." Jin simply wasn't ready to face his feeling towards Jungkook, and despite his friends advice, he continues to remain passive and chose the easy way out.
Jungkook was with Jisoo, the next day, attending their scheduled meeting with the wedding planner. Throughout the session, Jungkook just nods to whatever has been said and when being asked of his preference, he would often direct it back to Jisoo. It was like he was never present in the place. He recall how happy Jin was saying he found the one. His mind wanders if Jin is also discussing about marriage right now with his partner, he must be happy.
"Oppa, you've been smiling a lot."
"Of course Jisoo-shi, he must be happy to marry you. You look so good together." The wedding planner chimes in, teasing the couple.
"Thank you, Wendy-shi. I leave the planning to you then. Hope you can make it pretty. Oppa, let's go, we need to customize our ring." Jungkook was distracted yet he managed to cover and maintains a smile, simply followed Jisoo's lead.
That evening...
"Jinniee-ya, open the door please..."
