The sun was already up, yet, Jungkook was still in deep slumber. How can he not, after his long night of unexpected wild rendezvous outing with Jin. His peace, unfortunately was interrupted by the continuous vibration of his phone. "Ahhh... who is it..." Jungkook lazily stretched out his hand and grabbed his phone from the side table. "Hmm..."
"Oppa! Don't tell me you're still sleeping?? Today is our final fitting!" Jungkook finally opens his eyes. While he was trying to tune in to what's Jisoo was saying, his eyes was searching for Jin's presence. He gets out of bed, still on the phone and walks out of the room. The house somehow feels empty. His eyes darts around, opening up all the rooms, hoping to see Jin.
He stopped as he saw there's an envelope directed to him left on the dining table. Suddenly his footsteps, his heart became heavy. "Oppa! Are you even hearing to what I'm saying?"
"Sorry Jisoo, I can't make it today. I've got to go." Jungkook ended the call abruptly. His mind went blank. Jungkook nervousness unknowingly made his lower lip bleed from the continuous bites. After much contemplation, he courageously takes a step forward and took the envelope. He breathe in the fragrant scent of Jin's favourite perfume that lingers on the letter, calming him down shortly and starts reading...
"My deary Kookie,
I know, by now you're regretting and in distress for what transpired yesterday. Honestly, I'm sorry for leading you on, and being selfish, especially knowing that you're getting married in less than a week. I would totally understand if you resent me for my actions. Honestly, Kookie, I think me being here, would only cause you more stress. Hence, I'm taking my leave. I'm sorry that I wouldn't be present for your wedding. Trust me, even when I'm far, I'll always be looking out for you and pray for your happiness.
Kookie, my forever euphoria, I hope you'll always walk towards the beautiful path. You deserved every happiness.
With Love, Jinnie"
No matter how many times Jungkook read, he just couldn't accept that he lost his Jinnie again. This time, however, hurts a hundred times over.
