Jin's eyes welled, the moment he realised the man is Jungkook. There's a lot of questions in mind, yet he can't seem to form words out of it. Jungkook softly gaze at Jin, who seems to struggle to control his emotions. Jungkook stood up, and maintaining the eye contact, he extend his hand, "Jinnie, its cold outside, let's go in." Jin, though, he was still puzzled, he hold Jungkook's hand, and they walk hand in hand back to the cabin.
"Jinnie, take a seat here. I'll make a hot chocolate for you."
"Errmm... I've run out of chocolate sachet."
"Don't worry. I've got supply. Tada~" Jungkook open his down jacket and took out from one of his inner pocket that consist of chocolate sachets and a few packet of marshmallows. He then stood side way, and took out a small bottle of whipped cream from his other pockets.
Jin breaks into a smile at Jungkook's antic. Jin took out his winter outerwear, and settled down comfortably on the sofa. He then observe how Jungkook quietly make the hot chocolate, just like the ones he likes. Jungkook brought two mugs over and sat right next to Jin. "Your majesty, your one hot chocolate topped with sinful whipped cream and marshmallow is ready." Jin chuckled as he took the mug from Jungkook and slowly sip the hot drink. "Kookie, this is nice. Thank you."
"Are you seducing me already?"
"Huh?" Jungkook smirked as he gently wipe the whipped cream on Jin's lip using his thumb and then lick it all this, while maintaining eye contact with Jin. Jin was too flustered and without much thought, instead of taking a sip, he drank forgetting that the drink was still piping hot. "Ah!! Hot! Hot!" Jungkook quickly took the mug from Jin and place both of their mugs on the table.
"Glad that I'm here to take care of our clumsy baby." Jin pouts at Jungkook remarks. Jungkook couldn't help but cupped Jin's face, "Then again, I'm impressed our baby survived here alone for the past weeks." Jin scrunched his face as Jungkook squeeze his cheeks. Instead of backing down, Jin starts to tickles Jungkook. This continues, as they starts to get competitive and wrestle till Jin nearly falls out, which Jungkook managed to pull him right in time.
Jin wanted to detach himself, but Jungkook tightened his hold, bringing Jin closer to his chest. Jin decides not to resist and just lean in. Jungkook seeing how Jin had calm down, he reposition so that they could cuddle in comfort. They chose to remain silent in that embrace, as both trying to figure out how to address the elephant in the room.
After a while, Jin decided to break the ice, "Kookie..."
"Hmm..."
"Erm... where's Jisoo?"
"Honestly... I'm not sure either."
"Why?"
"Is there a reason why I need to know?"
"Cause, she's your wife."
"She would be if we're married."
"What are you talking about?"
"If only you charge your phone. You would've known."
"Sorry. Did something happened?"
"Yes. Something did happen."
"What happened?"
"You, you happened."
Jin gasped as he remembered of that eventful night where he leads Jungkook on. He immediately push away from Jungkook's embrace, and looks at Jungkook, feeling remorse as he was the main cause for their break-up. "Kookie... I can explain to Jisoo, its my fault. I will be accountable for that night. All this was a mistake. I can explain to Jisoo and everyone what's going on. We..."
"Shh..." Jungkook went over to Jin who was now on the floor kneeling in front of him crying. Jungkook gently lifts Jin's chin, his heart ache, seeing Jin's tears. "Jinnie... That night, was not a mistake and I am accountable for that night too. We, us, was never a mistake. The only mistake was me not realising it sooner."
"I don't know... maybe if that night didn't happen, you would have still be with Jisoo."
"Jinnie... I was already attracted to you even before that night. You know its bad, when I had to consult Mingyu for advice right? Then again, I didn't expect to face issues of my identity at this age. This whole feeling was something new to me, and it hurts when you said it was a mistake. Cause that night, I've selfishly wants it too. Pfft, even now, I'm holding myself back. I'm sorry for that unnecessary remarks. Anyway, what I'm trying to say here is that, I want to court you properly. Let's date and see how it goes. Will you take my hand, Jinnie-ya?"
Jin was beyond speechless. This should be a dream right?
