Jin wakes up from the cold morning. Since he was shirtless, he wraps the blanket around him and sat at the edge of his bed. His head felt heavy due to the after effect of hard liquor. He looks at the side of the table, and there's a note with a hangover drink to ease his stomach. He could only recall of Jungkook bringing him home and that's about it. Seeing the neat handwritten note brings a smile on his face, however, his happiness was short lived as he read the note, 'Jinnie, drink this up and rest well. I'll be away this whole week. Take care, love.'

He starts to regret of being drunk yesterday. Who would have known that would be the only interaction in person he will get for this week. No doubt, they do exchange text messages and call, but its just different. He looks at the calendar and further sigh. He was left with just two weeks till Jungkook's big day.

His stomach starts to growl, and that's his cue to move, "Oh wells. Its time to get use to this." He went straight to the fridge and was surprised seeing number of takeouts neatly sorted and again with a note left by Jungkook - 'Jinnie the food is still edible, but please eat by today. Its not good to keep for too long. Remember to heat up. Eat well. :)'

"Kookie, why do you make it hard for me." Its the last straw, and he eventually breaks down.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Jungkook was having a crisis. He couldn't comprehend this new feeling he had for Jin. He had no plans for the week. He just felt the need to be away from Jin to sort out whatever that needs to be settled. And so, that night, he went back to Jisoo's apartment, with hope it would eradicate all those forbidden thoughts. Except, it intensify further as he starts seeing Jin even while making out with Jisoo. Despite spending time with Jisoo for the week, he can't stop thinking about Jin.

Jungkook is someone who is transparent with his feelings. Jisoo might have overlook this, as she was busy with the wedding plans since its closing in. However, his best friend couldn't help but notice the vast change in Jungkook.

Mingyu: Care to share?
Jungkook: What's to share about?
Mingyu: Don't try to bullshit me. You've been frowning for the past days. What's up?
Jungkook: Promise you won't judge me.
Mingyu: I'm your friend. Of course I'll judge you. If not me, who else?
Jungkook: Fine. I've been looking at Jin differently.
Mingyu: Aww. What's wrong with Jinnie?
Jungkook: Its not him. Its me. I'm the problem.
Mingyu: I need more context.
Jungkook: Recently I've been fantasising about him.
Mingyu: Wow. And I guess now you're freaking out?
Jungkook: Of course. I'm so guilty.
Mingyu: Guilty to who?
Jungkook: Jin, he is family. How can I have such thoughts on him. Jisoo too, cause I've been thinking about Jin when we're making out.
Mingyu: I know you think Jin as family. Can I remind you that he is not your biological family. You just happen to grow up together since young. So I don't see anything wrong about it. Jisoo... on the other hand, I've got no comments.
Jungkook: I don't know. I'm left with a week till the wedding, and I still can't sort my feelings.
Mingyu: Does Jin knows about this?
Jungkook: Obviously no.
Mingyu: Well. I don't condone this, especially that you're in relationship. But I guess this might help you to sort your feelings.
Jungkook: What is it?
Mingyu: Kiss him.
Jungkook: Are you out of your mind???
Mingyu: Don't worry. I'll have your back.
Jungkook: That's not the point. I don't want to affect my relationship with Jin.
Mingyu: Gosh. Here I thought you worried about Jisoo.
Jungkook: Maybe, this is all infatuation.
Mingyu: Well, if its infatuation then stop avoiding Jin.
Jungkook: I'm screwed. Ugh! What should I do?
Mingyu: There's still a week to go. You're only screwed, if you continue to wed and yet still thinking about what ifs? Trust me on this.

With Mingyu's encouragement, Jungkook arranged with Jin for a dinner meet up. He felt a dinner outside is safer, then him being alone with Jin at home. He don't trust himself recently. He purposely chose a pojangmacha where he knows there will be a crowd and it would be a good distraction for him, if he ever have forbidden thoughts again.

He was waiting patiently at the corner seat, when there's a commotion. The way, Jin smiles shyly, acknowledging everyone inside as slowly makes his way to Jungkook. How can he forget, Jin is a well-known figure, of course his entrance will enchant everyone. Well, including him. His heart beats fast and Jungkook unknowingly stood up, just as Seokjin reached the table.

"Hi Kookie. It's been awhile!"

"Fuck"
