" i might never see you again, so i need to tell you that i love you appa. i know i don't say it lots but i mean it. i love you so much, appa. i hope i see you again, but if not please stay alive. i love you."

hae-yi took a deep shaky breath and turned the camera off to see everybody staring at her sympathetically. she quickly wiped her tears away and looked over to where su-hyeok and nam-ra were sitting together and talking.

" hey, " she greeted the pair after walking over, " i hope i'm not interrupting anything but we've all recorded messages on this camera if you wanted to film one."

su-hyeok took the camera out of her hands and looked at it, " i don't really have anything to say." he turned to nam-ra beside him, " you?"

nam-ra slowly shook her head in response. hae-yi sent the pair a small smile before walking back to the rest of their classmates.

hae-yi sat down next to cheong-san again, who looked over his shoulder at su-hyeok and nam-ra.

" i think su-hyeok is going to confess to her." hae-yi told him after seeing his curious stare.

" really? he finally grew some balls then." gyeong-su joined their conversation, causing hae-yi to giggle before turning back to su-hyeok and nam-ra.

she tapped her feet excitedly when she saw the pair kissing and clung a hand onto cheong-san's arm while she prodded gyeong-su.

" look! they're kissing!" she exclaimed. gyeong-su gasped as cheong-san chuckled at how ecstatic hae-yi was.

however, hae-yi's excited mood soon ended, and her smile dropped as she put a hand to her head in pain. hae-yi quickly walked over to the door, putting her ear to it as she listened.

" what is it?" cheong-san asked concernedly, walking up to her.

" i hear something strange." she told him. she furrowed her eyebrows as she listened, and the group began to gather around her and cheong-san.

" what if she's finally turning?" ji-min whispered to hyo-ryung.

" i thought halfbies didn't turn." dae-su leaned down to the two girls, causing hyo-ryung to slap him away due to the surprise.

" i hear it." hae-yi said.

" what do you hear?" nam-ra queried.

" somebody is throwing up." she stated.

" stop that, you're scaring me.." hyo-ryung fiddled with her fingers.

" don't you hear it?" hae-yi asked everybody, and they all shook their heads in return.

hae-yi hated it. she could hear every little thing: joon-yeong playing with a zipper, hyo-ryung's frightened breathing, na-yeon's foot tapping.

" let's get out of here. this place feels weird." she finally spoke.

" we can't just leave." su-hyeok reminded her, " there are too many zombies."
