Everything seemed to be a bit more tense around since you had said you had been attacked by some entity, Evan and Vinny seemed to believe you but Jeff seemed sceptical, assuming you had maybe been on something when you said you were attacked. Vinny seemed to get really defensive of you, explaining that you didn't look like you had taken any kind of drugs and there wasn't any alcohol in your room. It kinda was a very awkward time when Vinny and Jeff got into another argument. It felt like the ties holding everyone's friendship together were falling apart at the seams. It hurt you, it felt like this was all your fault. If you hadn't told Vinny you had seen the creature then maybe none of this would have happened.
Evan sat next to you, having a slightly worried expression on his face, "Y/N? Are you alright? You've been acting weird lately." He asked, raising an eyebrow as he placed a hand on your shoulder. You tensed slightly at the touch of his hand, eyes snapping to look over at him as your teeth slightly clenched together. He removed his hand immediately, shocked by your startled reaction. You untensed your body as you frowned, looking back down at the ground.
"Yeah, I'm alright sorry..."You muttered under your breath as your eyes glanced at the carpeted floor, Evan looked at you, he seemed to be very worried. You didn't ever act like this from the time that he knew you. Usually you were always wanting to be very happy. And the person who would always reassure people if they were feeling bad. He had never seen you be the person who needed cheering up.
"You don't look alright, you've been shaken up since you apparently got attacked." Evan said as he sighed, he rubbed your back slowly as he frowned. You turned your head to look at him, your arms slightly crossing as you nodded your head. "I guess I'm just still recovering..it was very shocking and also scary." You admitted as you stared into his eyes. He stared right back at you, his hand on your shoulder, it was a comforting act if you were being honest.
"Are you sure you're alright?" Evan said, slightly pushing the topic as he frowned, you looked around the room, trying to dodge the question, you knew that you really weren't alright. You were still paranoid as hell when it came to your surroundings and you didn't like being alone that much. You knew that there really wasn't any way to dive around the situation so you sighed, shaking your head.
"No, I guess I'm not alright..I'm just scared Ev.."You admitted as you gripped your hand slightly, your nails digging into your skin and slightly causing blood to draw. You retracted your nails as Evan frowned, he seemed to be very worried still as he wrapped his arms around you, enveloping you in a hug. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders as you leaned your head on top of his. You let out a weak laugh.
"Thank you Evan."
"It's no problem Y/n."
The hug felt nice, like you were on cloud nine to be honest. Your cheeks slightly heated up as you and Evan pulled away from the hug, he looked at you and chuckled softly, his eyes softening as he looked at you with soft eyes. "You're blushing Y/n."He pointed out, pointing to your cheeks. It felt like your face was heating up even more as you quickly covered your cheeks with your hands. Evan let out a loud laugh as he leaned his head back, he moved the hair out of his face as he snickered at your embarrassed reaction.
You tried to hide your flushed cheeks but Evan placed a hand on your own hands, removing your hands from your cheeks, you had wide eyes as you stared at Evan's blue eyes. His soft ocean blue eyes staring into your e/c eyes. It seemed like everything was slightly slowed down as he smiled at you.
"Wanna go get slushies?" He said smirking, removing his hands as he let out a small snicker. You blinked, slightly taken aback by his sudden response. You had expected him to..lean closer towards you but he seemed to retract his hands and place them in his jean pockets. You shook your head trying to shake off the heat from your cheeks.
"Jesus Ev."You muttered under your breath as you let out a small laugh, he grinned at you, snickering slightly as he stood up, stretching his arms out. He let out a small groan as he popped his back, you sighed as you also sat up, shaking your head dismissively.
"So? You wanna go get slushies?" Evan questioned as he tried to stifle his snickers. You smiled softly at him and nodded your head. Walking up to him and you slightly took his hand into your own, holding it tightly.
"Sure"
"Let's go get slushies then."
