You sighed as you gripped the steering wheel tightly, it was a dark night as you drove closer into New Jersey, your apartment in Alabama had mysteriously burned down and you had nowhere else to turn for help besides your brother Vincent. Though he went by Vinney you usually always called him Vince. Luckily for you Vincent was open arms to you coming to stay at his place until you could get on your feet and find a stable job and a nice apartment to move into. So you atleast had that going for you.

The windows were rolled down letting the cool air blow into your car. It was comforting to you when the windows rolled down and the wind was able to blow into the car and hit your face. The radio was on, playing a catchy tune that was popular at the moment. You hummed quietly to yourself as you turned down a lane and into a street with houses on the side. You noticed a group of people standing outside one of the houses.

"Is that Vince and his friends?"You questioned as you stopped the car and peaked your head out of the window, trying to get a better look at the group of boys. Yep..that was definitely vincent. Judging by his glasses and the bit of stubble he had on his chin that was most definitely your brother. He was standing next to Vincent, he was around five ten, having brown hair that went down to his ears and it looked like he had green eyes, though you couldn't be sure since of how dark it was. Then next to the brunette there was another male that was around Five foot ten as well and he had dark brown hair and caramel colored eyes. Vincent honestly stood out from the other two boys.

Vincent waved at you as he smiled widely, "Y/n! Come on! You can park your car right next to Evans!" He said, pointing to Evan's car. You gave him a quick nod and started up your car again, pulling into the driveway and parking it right next to Evans car. You turned the car off and grabbed your keys and duffle bag. Opening up the car door you walked out, slinging the duffle bag over your shoulder.

Who you assumed was Evan walked up next to you, he was wearing a black shirt with a skull on it. He grinned at you and held out his hand for you to shake. "The names Evan, Vinny has told us a lot about you!" He greeted you. You gave Vincent a side eye, your eyebrows raising.

"I hope they have all been good things, right vince?" You questioned giving your brother a little stink eye, Vincent chuckled nervously as he raised his hands up in defense. "Yes, yes, they were all great things Y/n, don't sweat it!" He said somewhat nervously.

You chuckled and shook Evans hand. Giving him a small smile as you thanked him for the information, and..for letting you park your car right next to his own. "It's really not a problem! Just make sure you don't hit my car when ya leaving, or then we really will actually have a problem."

The other male walked up and stood next to vincent, he smiled at you, he was wearing a white shirt with a tree on it, it looked like it was maybe supposed to be a fall tree? Since all the leaves on the shirt were on the ground next to the tree. "Hey, my name's Jeff, nice to meet you." He introduced himself with a nod.

"Nice to meet you all, I'm glad Vince let me stay here, otherwise I'd be stuck in Alabama without a home."You said, chuckling a bit nervously. You were being serious as well. Your apartment was basically unrecognizable and there had been no way they'd be able to refix it. So you had to live at your friend's place for a bit until Vince had offered to let you stay at his place down in New Jersey.
"Well, I'd love to catch up but let's actually catch up inside instead of being out in the cold, there's a storm coming soon so let's not get caught up in the rain."Vincent said motioning for us to follow him inside, you nodded and held your duffle bag, making sure that nothing had fallen out on the car ride over before following Evan, Jeff, and Vincent inside. You walked inside and you immediately looked around the area and house you'd be living in until further notice.

It was a decently sized house, not too big and not too small. It looked like there was also a basement. "Wow..This place is so much better than my old apartment." You commented as you set your duffle bag down onto the marble tile floor. Vincent snorted as he shook his head, walking past you and into the kitchen.

"If you think this is huge, just wait until you go over to Evans place, he has a two story house!" Vincent said as he pulled out a cup and grabbed something from the fridge. "Do you want F/D?" He asked, looking up at you with raised eyebrows. You gave him a nod as you continued to look around the house.

Evan chuckled as he walked up next to you and placed a hand on your back. "You good? You've just been staring at the area?" He said trying not to laugh, you looked at him and smiled sheepishly letting out a nervous laugh. "Yeah, yeah, I'm alright. Just got lost in thought, this place is fuckin huge." You said

Evan shook his head as he smiled at you, you stared into his green eyes, jesus christ, it felt like you could get lost in his eyes. You blushed slightly when you noticed he was staring right back at you. You turned your head away trying to hide your blushing cheeks. Evan snickered and ruffled your hair, messing up your H/c, it made your hair look all fuzzy and messy. You gasped and gave him a pretend offended look. He grinned at you with an innocent smile.

"What?"

"Why you-"

"Y/n, here is your drink. "Vincent said, interrupting the moment you and Evan were having, you paused glancing over at Vincent, you looked back over at Evan for a second before taking the cup filled with F/D, you thanked Vincent and took a large swig of the drink. It was really refreshing to have something that wasn't just ya know..water since you started the drive over. "Thank you vince."You said, thanking your brother, Evan snickered slightly and you sent him a glare.

He raised his hands up in defense and grinned at you with a mischievous look. You rolled your eyes and huffed, not paying him anymore attention and just finished drinking your drink. Vincent looked at the two of you with a confused look. "Don't worry about it, vinny."Evan said, shrugging the situation off, you rolled your eyes again and walked away from the two, sitting down at the kitchen island on one of the seats that was there.

"Oh Hermes or any other kind of god..please pray for me."You muttered to yourself, this was gonna be a long couple of months...
