Dreams and sleep deprivation

A/n: This chapter may be a bit longer than the last one! But I promise it won't be as long as 'getting back into the swing of things' I'm gonna try and only make it maybe up to four thousand words? Maybe I don't know yet. So we will see how this goes! :>

You sighed as you adjusted the camera that was on your desk, turning it on you smiled at the camera, "Hey Hybrids, It's Y/n here. So, what I'm gonna do for the dream lab is that I'm gonna be getting a short amount of sleep hours. And then stay up. So basically a repeating cycle and see what happens and what my dreams are like." You spoke to the camera before you rubbed your nose, yawning as you smiled at the camera.

"Now, I have a journal here for if I see any hallucinations so I can draw them out, Cause I know they aren't real." You said as you held up the f/c journal. A smile on your face before putting the journal back down on your table. "I've never given you guys a tour of my room so ima do that!" you said as you picked up the camera and turned it around so you were holding it so the camera could get an overview of your room. Your bed was on the left side of the room, it was your favourite aesthetic type of room.So it looked exactly how you wanted it to look like. You had a drawer that was a brownish colour. You moved around to show your desk. It was basically a mess, papers strewn across everywhere and pencils on the table. It looked like a mini tornado had swept your desk and desmoated it .

"Don't mind the mess on my desk, that was from when I was struggling to find out what to do for my part of the lab." You said letting out a soft laugh before you moved away from the desk and over towards your closet. And the mass amounts of plushies you had in the corner. There was also a music stand and next to it was a guitar and a flute out of its case. You were someone who loved to play music. So you picked up the guitar and the flute early in your middle school and highschool journey. You let out a hum.

"I love playing instruments as well! If you can't tell from the two instruments over there next to the music stand." You said as you turned the camera back around, smiling at it. "So that's all! Ima get some sleep and I'll turn the camera back on when I need to get back up again!" You spoke before turning the camera off.

You groaned as you heard the beeping sound of your alarm, ringing harshly in your ears that it was time for you to get up and turn back on the dang camera. You sat up in your bed and grabbed the camera that was on the drawer next to your light. Turning on the light you pressed record on the camera, shifting in your bed you faced it. "Hey Hybrids." Your voice was groggy and hoarse, deeper than your usual voice when you've been awake for a couple hours.

"Y/n here, It is like..maybe two am in the morning? I can hear Jeff and Vinny downstairs, I think they are streaming..I think Evan is asleep at the moment since I don't hear him in his room." You said as you let out a yawn rubbing your eyes as you tried to adjust to the bright light that filled your room up slightly.

"I really didn't dream much when I had originally went to bed, though I do remember hearing my friend Jay's voice, which is weird since I haven't seen him since I left alabama.."You said muttering the last part under your breath, but you looked at the camera glancing at the clock. "Anyway, I gotta stay up for a couple hours before I go back to bed.My stomach is grumbling so before we get into the gritty of things Ima get some food." You spoke, grabbing the camera and shuffling out of your bed, letting out another yawn as you smelled the weirdly familiar scent of pine trees, and also strawberry shortcake, pushing past the wafting smell you opened your door and walked out.

Venturing down the stairs you saw Jeff and Vinny talking to each other, you raised an eyebrow. " I thought you guys were streaming?" You questioned as you let out a yawn, trying to shake off all the sleepiness. Jeff turned his head to look at you. He nodded his head grinning. "We are! Wanna come say hi to the Hybrids?" He asked as he pointed to the computer where they must have been streaming on.
