Maggie Greene and William Swan had finally gotten engaged to be married, and they were both excited to be expecting their first child. Despite Maggie being six months pregnant, they were determined to enjoy life and spend as much time together as possible. So, they decided to go on a picnic in the park, accompanied by William's sisters, Lucy and Alison.

As they arrived at the park, Maggie and William found a nice spot in the shade to lay out their blanket and set up their picnic. Lucy and Alison helped them unpack the basket of food, and soon they were all enjoying sandwiches, fruit, and cold drinks.

"So predictions on the gender, boy or girl?" Lucy asked curious as to what everyone thought the baby would be.

Little did the young one know that Maggie knew the gender of the baby and wanted to surprise the family as a whole.

"I hope it's a girl." Alison said, a wide smile painting across her face, "Imagine a little Maggie running around the house."

William smiled at the sight running through his mind, as if he was watching the scene play out right in front of him. He wouldn't mind having a daughter but either way, he'd love his child.

Maggie leaned back against William's chest, feeling his warm embrace and the gentle kicks of their unborn child. She smiled contentedly, knowing that she was exactly where she wanted to be. William placed a loving hand on her belly, feeling the baby move inside.
He pressed a soft kiss against her cheek, "What about you? You want a boy or girl?"

Maggie smiled, "It doesn't matter what the baby is. He or she will be amazing." She rested the back of her head against William's shoulder.

Lucy and Alison were chatting and laughing, enjoying the sunshine and the open space of the park. They were both excited about becoming aunts soon and couldn't wait to meet their new nephew or niece.

After they finished eating, William suggested they take a walk around the park to enjoy the scenery. Maggie and Lucy agreed, while Alison stayed behind to keep an eye on their belongings.

As they walked, Maggie and William talked about their plans for the future. They were excited to become parents and start their own family together. William wanted to be the best father he could be, and Maggie knew he would be a wonderful dad. They both knew that it wouldn't be easy, but they were prepared to face any challenges together.

Lucy and Maggie walked ahead, chatting and admiring the flowers and trees in the park, while William lagged behind, lost in thought. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to have Maggie in his life, and he promised himself that he would do everything in his power to make her happy.

As the sun began to set, they made their way back to the blanket and packed up their belongings. Maggie and William held hands as they walked, enjoying the warmth of each other's touch. They knew that their lives were about to change forever, but as long as they had each other, they could face anything.

In the end, their picnic in the park would always be a special memory, a reminder of their love and the beautiful family they were building together.
