A/N: this chapter is when things should get good 💅

I turned the corner of a hallway, freezing when I saw a little girl standing there at the end of a hallway. She stood there, her long brunette hair covering her eyes, but not her smile. The little girl had a black dress with thin white stripes that embroidered the edge of the fabric, and she held a small gift box.

She looked up at me, her hair falling away from her face and revealing her almost ghostly white face and dark eyes that dripped black tears.

"Don't be afraid Y/N... you remember me don't you?" The little girl giggled.

I stood there a moment, before something clicked in my mind. I came to the conclusion that this little girl was relevant to the marionette somehow... I also know that she sure as hell wasn't alive.

I tried not to dwell on the thought that I was talking to a ghost right now...

"...Are...you the marionette...?"

She giggled again. "Close enough. My name is Charlotte Emily, but you can call me Charlie..." She seemed like such a sweet little girl... I wondered what happened to her...

"I know you're wondering what happened to me...why I'm here..." her voice echoed, her smile faltered. I nodded.

"I don't want to talk about that right now... but... wouldn't you like to play some games...?" She asked sweetly, regaining her little smile.

I smiled slightly "Sure, what kind of games?"

Charlie laughed, beginning to skip down the hall "The arcade games of course silly!"

I followed her, almost forgetting she was a ghost. She was energetic, just like you would expect any child to be... and it sort of warmed my heart to know she still could find ways to be happy...even after death...

I had to push away the morbid thoughts that tried to seep into my mind, as I began to wonder if I was hallucinating...

I followed Charlie into the arcade room, noticing that she was ever so slightly translucent, as we arrived in the room she stood facing away from me by the arcade machine from the dream I suddenly remembered.

I stopped in the doorway as I heard the familiar bell.

6 am

Charlie turned her face to me, no longer smiling, instead a solemn expression on her face, but I noticed that her eyes weren't so empty anymore, they possessed silver pupils that looked toward me in a way that made my heart ache.

"Something bad is going to happen Y/N..."

I opened my mouth to ask her what she meant, but she faded away, as if never there at all.

Did I really hallucinate all of that?

After my shift I had gone straight to sleep, waking up around 2pm due to a call from Jeremy, he was just making sure I was still going and he also told me the location and time to meet him.

I was slowly adjusting to my new sleep schedule, but I had to buy darker curtains to block out the bright sunlight.

I tried to go back to sleep, but forced myself to leave my comfortable bed when I couldn't, heading straight to the shower. I was actually pretty excited to look through an old Freddy's location, mostly because I liked creepy stuff.

It was nearly time to meet Jeremy at the abandoned location, and my stupid self had to ask him if I was supposed to wear my uniform or normal clothes, to which he said it doesn't really matter what I wear, as long as I'm not naked(obviously). I had a decent laugh from that.
