"we're going snowboarding!!" Lloyd burst into the room. Master wu, pixel and the rest of the ninja were in the gaming room enjoying themselves when lloyd burst in with a winter jacket on. "You can snowboard?!" Cole crossed his arms with a grin. "i guess we'll find out" lloyd winked. "I'll pack!" Nya and Jay said in unison and jumped up. They both looked at each other and blushed, everyone else snickered. Jay and nya have been yeng and yang for 2 years now, they always flustered each other on missions and got a bit grumpy when told to separate by lloyd for some cases,
"we'll be in and out in 5 minutes, tops" lloyd rubbed the bridge of his nose in frustration. "please lloyd!!" Both nya and Jay put puppy eyes, kai had no idea nya even had a puppy face, yet alone puppy eyes! "i can go alone, no partner required Mr and Ms lovebirds" cole rolled his eyes and walked off.
That was just one of the occasions. And sometimes jay and nya were the most caring and wholesome couples ❤
Okay, back to the story 😅........
So everyone packed their gear, "no weapons" master wu said with a stern face. "but-" "butts are for sitting nephew. This is a vacation, not a mission" lloyd side-eyed his golden blade katana with a sad face. There's no reasoning with master wu. "please, one, just one weapon" kai begged this time. "okay fine students, one dagger each or something-" even before he could finish, the ninja stuffed surricuns and a few swords, well, the swords were mostly kai and lloyd.
Time skip;
"I believe that we have arrived ninja" pixel announced from the top deck. The bounty landed on the foot of a snowy mountain. Kai jumped into the snow first, he still didn't have his winter gear on, just as I fell face flat, the snow evaporated immediately and left a snow angel of kai's firery outline. "whoa hot head" cole jumped next to kai. Kai shivered, "i-i-it's s-s-so cold-" he's teeth chattered. "didn't I tell you put your gear on first kai? Even if you're the master of fire " Jay rolled his eyes sarcastically. He jumped out and held out his hand out for nya. Kai rolled his eyes, he hated seeing lovey dovey couple stuff. He made a sarcastic gagging motion to cole, cole chuckled. Jay glared and he's face went red.
"ahem" they looked up to see nya, she had a Grey and light blue coat, black boots, black mittens and ear muffs. "s-sorry nya" Jay blushed. Nya took Jay's hand and jumped down. "duck!" Jay yelled and Jay ducked just in time. A snowball came flying and hit nya in the face, as he was just standing behind Jay. It hit nya in the face. The snowball was icey cold and it made Nya's cheek shrink. She wiped the snow away and looked at the culprit, lloyd! "opsie" lloyd's eyes widened. He. Was. Dead. "I told you so" Kai shrugged and Cole put his elbow on kai's shoulder, "this'll be interesting." He whispered to kai, grinning.
"you're on lloyd!" Nya smirked. She took a bit lump if snow and shaped it into a rather big snowball, she aimed and threw it at lloyd. The impact totally made lloyd flip over and he landed on his butt. "whoa it's cold!" I got up with a yelp. "awesome nya" Jay gave a thumbs up to his girlfriend.
Just then, Zane and pixel came to deck. "I see that you are having fun" Zane smiled. "you bet!" Jay said as he threw a snowball at kai, he's aim was bad so instead of it hitting kai on the face, it went straight to Cole's hair, making his raven black hair white, like frosting. "kai catch!" Zane threw a snow board at him. It bounced off kai's head and landed on the snow next to him. Kai rubbed his head and goarned, "owch. T-thanks zane" he gave a thumbs up and picked it up. "wait- you know how to snowboard?" Jay and nya asked in unison. Kai nodded, "yeah. You guys didn't seriously know?" The couple shook their head. Kai shrugged, "well, now you know. Come on cole!" Zane tossed cole a pair of skis.
"i-I don't know how to ski-"
"it's fine, I'll help you"
Now, it was only lloyd, nya and Jay on the snowy ground. "I guess....i should join them" lloyd caught the snowboard Zane threw with one hand. "wait up you two!!" He yelled and tan to cole and kai, his snowboard tucked under his arm, his feet crumbling in the snow. Zane jumped down with pixel. "here you go jay, " he handed jay a blue snow board, "I'm guessing that you know how to snowboard!" Nya grinned. "yup" Jay winked, Nya's cheeks brushed pink.
Nya wanted to try some skis.
Bad idea-
"trust me, now hold your sticks and just glide alone the snow" Nya stubbornly shook her head, "i-I can't!"
"come on, it's not that hard"
Nya gripped Jay's hand tightly, "t-that's a bit, tight" Jay wheezed. "s-sorry" nya let ho and apologized. "it's fine, really. Come on, it's a little hill" Jay let go and nya wobbled. She squeezed her eyes shut. "hey, hey, nya, look" Jay urged. Nya peeked through. Jay was on his snow board and pointing in the distance. As nya focused on what Jay was pointing at she realized that it was a white stag looking at them with it's black eyes. It had a pair of big antlers. "Zane said that they're migrating west these days" "whoa. He's so beautiful "
"I coundn't agree more"
Jay took Nya's hand. "try nya. If you fall I'll be there to catch you" Jay winked. Nya blushed. She took a deep breath and gave a thumbs up. "okay, now just ski down hill I guess" Jay chuckled. "you go first " nya bit her lip. "yeah sure" Jay jumped down the slope and smoothly snow boarded down and stop horizontally, stopping himself by grabbing hold of a three trunk.
"you can do this nya" nya sighed and pushed off and skied down. The frosty air brushing against her face, her raven hair swinging in the breeze. As she closed the bottom, she tried to stop and I was so scared to react. She closed her eyes and braced or impact. But jay held his hand out just in time and held her into his chest.
Nya felt a warm sensation. She was expecting to feel cold of her probably crashing into some snow. She opened her eyes to see Jay, looking at her with his dark blue eyes concerne. "are you okay?"
"y-yeah"
there was an awkward silence between the couple. Nya held jay even closer, still bit shaken. "i-I want to do it again" nya smiled to herself. "oh really! Next time; I'll teach you how to properly stop" Jay scratched the back of his neck guilty.
