fuck, I can't get enough!!!  Another greenflame highschool AU 😏. More like the movie universe, some details follow that. Basically kai relaxing lloyd 💕

Also, the song, Die 4 you, is one of my comfort songs, actually my crush sang this to me when I was feeling down one day, it's very special to me for that. And the FMV is Britewin, another one of my favorite ships🌸

Lloyd sighed as he looked at himself in his bathroom mirror. He brushed his blondes locks off with his right hand. You'll never fit in. Who wants to be friends with a loser like you? Tears fell down lloyd pale cheeks. Lloyd never did fit in. There were reason for that; he was a clumsy nerd who sometimes wore thin glasses to read book and tiny letters, it wasn't a big deal but the bullies took advantage. Lloyd was a bit short for his age and could barely reach for the shelves in the library. He had bright green eyes, very unnatural for kids, he was bullied for his looks, his personality, his choices -he never got a break. 

For one thing; he was a nice boy, bright grades and rankings academically. He had a loving mother but she was the only one who's keeping him from ending everything. Lloyd loved her mother, Koko, but he just felt helpless sometimes. 

Lloyd hesitated but look a piece of glass which was a broken fragment of his previous actions. "what else do I have left?" Lloyd cut his arms with the glass. He flinched at the pain as blood oozed from his cuts, previous attempts ever showing his desires......

Time skip

"mum, I.....i'm going out" 

"oh okay honey. Will you be back for dinner?"

"n-not sure but I'll make it"

"thanks. Enjoy yourself "

Lloyd plastered a fake smile and grabbed his green hoodie and walked out to the chilly autumn breeze. He shivered as his hugged himself. It was colder than usual. Lloyd headed off to his favorite place to relax and enjoy himself. Normal teenagers probably would go to a bar, an arcade or the mall but lloyd was no ordinary teen. He loved going to a Cafe in the outskirts of the city. There was a cherry blossom pathway to the Cafe and as the wind brushed against the branches, the pink flowers glided in the wind, lloyd liked putting a few flowers in his hair sometimes, even if he could never admit it.

Lloyd pushed through the glass door and inhaled the cinnamon dented crispy evening air. The Cafe was not that crowded, just the way lloyd liked it. He walked over to the counter but dropped short of words. The staff knew lloyd because he usually come here and spends time here but the cashier was someone lloyd didn't recognize.

 "good evening sir. Anything I can get y-" the cashier stopped in midsentence. Both of them stared at each other for an awkward few seconds. The new guy had dark brown hair and amber hazelnut eyes, both staring at lloyd with the same curiosity and lust. "h-hi. I'll have a Caramel latte and a croissant, thanks" lloyd finally asked. The brunett seemed to snap out of his trance and nodded. "that'll be uhm... $10.50"  lloyd paid and went to his normal seat, a two chaired table that was near a big window, overlooking the city and the cherry blossom pathway. He sat alone waiting for his food to come. he pulled out his phone and checked his texts, nothing. Not surprised, lloyd didn't have any friends. 

His cuts started to hurt again. Lloyd covered his sleeves with his hoodie more securely and looked out the window. The city was bustling but to lloyd, it was peaceful. He sighed as he kept his rested his head on the table and thought of how messed up his life was. 

"uhm... Y-your Caramel latte and croissant.....sir" 

Lloyd looked up to see the same brunett, holding in a tray, his food. "yeah, thanks" Lloyd nodded as he set it on the table. Lloyd hesitated but he had to get it out. "hey, I haven't seen you before. Are you new?" "yes sir-" "please, call me lloyd-" for the first time in days, lloyd really smiled. "I'm pretty sure we both are the same age" lloyd chuckled. He's only met this brunett for only a few minutes and he already feels something between them. 

"yeah" the brunett also fluttered a smile, rubbing the back of his neck pretty awkwardly. "working part-time" "oh cool, uhm..-"

 "kai" 

"right. Kai. Nice to meet you" 

Kai smiled in response and lloyd felt a little warm tingle inside for the first time. 

In the following weeks, they got to know each other more. Turns out, kai, went to another school and worked part-time here to support her sister, nya, he said. Lloyd respected that and also shared a few details about himself too. But he was careful enough not to revel any of his depressed, stupid actions to kai. Kai and lloyd shared a lot of similar interests, but the difference was that kai was pretty popular at his school and his friends often came into the Cafe. His friends were fine, to say the least. To be honest, lloyd didn't quite fit in with his group, only kai. 

One afternoon, kai was on a late swift and lloyd went late too. He waved at kai. kai was handling a customer but didn't forget to return it. 

After he was free and packing up, lloyd walked over to him, "wanna maybe hang out at the park or something " 

"that'll be great! Let me get ready" 

Lloyd nodded and waited outside. He rolled up his sleeves just for a second because it seemed a bit hot outside. 

"......a-are you okay?"

Lloyd turned sharply to see kai, now ready with a pale expression, he looked concerned. Lloyd quickly rolled down his hoodie. "i-its nothing. I'm fine" 

"clearly not" 

"it's nothing really. It....."

"what?" 

"it's not like you care"

There was a silence after that. When kai didn't answer lloyd, lloyd shrugged and heaved a deep sigh, "I'll just go home"

"don't you leave me hanging lloyd. You're my friend"

"then who were those people who were your 'friends'?" Lloyd put invisible double quotes to push his point. Kai opened his mouth but no words came out, just hot air. He sighed and collected his thoughts. 

"they are Nya's friends" he also did invisible double quotes with a raised eyebrow. Lloyd's eye widened. "I just uhm... Talk to them. Which I'm sure you're quite not familiar with" kai spat, now Hurt. "so you don't have any friends?" Lloyd tone was sympathiec but at the same time, felt like a dying flower. Kai sighed. "I never knew we were alike" "what do you mean?"

Before lloyd could say more, kai also rolled up his sleeves. Up to his shoulders and chest were scars. Lloyd gasped. "no, no, no why?" "I could ask you the same thing " Lloyd hugged kai and kai hugged him back warmly. As lloyd broke away from kai. 

Kai's lips brushed Lloyd's. Lloyd silently gasped but surprisingly kissed him back......

Been typing this for a whole week!!! I have about 5 more drafts in this book alone. And whole 10 more XvX

My tests are almost done so I'll be free more. Hope you guys liked it. I didn't actually plan kai having to cut himself but a lot of friends, to whom I've shown this when I was writing it suggested that I add this twist. Hope you guys like it!

Tbh, I got a bit emotional writing some parts, most of which I decided to just delete. Just don't ask me why. I'm going through a lot these days. Just wish that everyone could've been different somehow.
