"Remind me, why we are here Cole?" Zane tugged on cole's jacket, confused. "Relax Icy. We came to see the new year's celebrations. I heard that we're gonna have fireworks this year!" Zane nodded, now understood. "the bounty is the best place to feel it" "i agree-" zane's stomach fluttered and he blushed, trying to strop his growing lust. "t-thank you for bringing me here tonight Cole. I-I really appreciate it." cole's cheeks flushed pink but she covered it with his jacket. "yeah well, We are together now, aren't we?" Cole put his arm around Zane and mean- i love being alone with yupu but, its weirdly comforting to hear jay's cringy jokes once in awhile" Cole pointed out. "I guess you have a point but" Zane smirked, suddenly Zane came close to Cole's lips. "Kisses after the fireworks" Cole grinned as he kept his finger on Zane's lips. "alright, if you say so" Zane said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"i know that you can't resist my handsomeness"

"i-incorrect""Oh yeah? nice tr-"

Zane couldn't take it anymore. Before Cole could reply, Zane put his hand on Cole's mouth. "MMH!~" Cole said, muffled. "2 minutes Cole. And yes, you are cute. You do indeed know me very well" Zane said playfully, his hand still firmly on Cole's mouth. Cole mumbled something with a raised eyebrow. Zane grinned.

After a few awkward moments of cole muffled up, the chilly air was filled with people counting down. Zane finally let go of cole's mouth and he gasped, breathing for air. "did you hold your breath this whole time?" Zane crossed his arms.

".....sort of?"

Zane face-palmed himself ad cole pulled a guilty smile. "come on, we're so close!" Cole started counting. Zane nodded and joined in.

"5.....4.....3.....2....1! happy new year!" The whole city cheered, including Cole and zane over the below deck of the destiny's bounty. Then the all awaited fireworks were lit.

As vibrant colors illuminated the skyline, small snow flecks begin to fall. Ad the fireworks lit the sides of cole and zane's faces as they faced each other.

"you may kiss me now" Cole smirked. Zane chuckled. But before he could lean in, cole jumped on Zane. as cole lay on top of zane, their cheeks -starch that- their whole faces were bright pink. They stared at each other's eye for a few heartbeats and cole's lips finally pressed against Zane's. Their tongues fighting for dominance. As they parted, gasping for air, a string of saliva connected their tongues.

"My New year's resolution;-" cole said breathlessly, "be an awesome boyfriend"

"you already are boulder brain" Zane winked, trying to tease the heck out of him. Cole knew that so he took the advantage, "Let me remind you; We're on the floor and i'm on top of you" Cole bit his lower lip, concealing a grin. Zane knew what he had in mind

"go on"

"you asked for it"

Cole smashed his lips on zane roughly kissed him. Zane gladly returned with the same lust. The couple made love under the colorful fireworks on New Year's morning.........
