"You said not to fall behind, but what if I fell head over heels right into your arms tonight?"

Jay blinked a few times to make sure he wasn't seeing doubles, thankfully he wasn't druck. His drink was set in front of him, a little to half finished and he felt like leaving all too soon. He sighed and brought his hand to his forehead, overling thinking about the situation that made him come in the first place.

Just less than a minute later, a familiar brunette sat next to Jay on the stools and asked for a glass of vodka. The boy smelled of cherry blossoms and brunt spices, which surprisingly calmed Jay down a bit.
Also, the man's name was Kai and Jay has been developing feelings for him for the past three years of their one of a kind friendship.

"Hey ginger" Kai greets Jay with a wink. Jay looks away to hide a blush and casually nods, "sup"

"Nothing much, sup with you?" Kai said with a flirty tone.

Jay sighs, pushing his hair back he looks down at his own drink and chuckles, "something tells me that you've chugged down something too strong for you"

"Says who?" Kai raises and eyebrow with a cocky grin. Jay tries his best to keep his composure, he couldn't loose like this.
"The way you're trynna flirt with me screams my point. Like, dude, I'm not a girl"

"So?"

"You're fucking drunk" Jay says with a smug face, hoping that the lights will cancel out his intense blushing eventually.
"Oh thank you Mr. Obvious" Kai throws his hands up dramatically.
Jay blushes at the creative nicknames the brunette always manages to come up with. Still, against his odds, Jay miraculously manages to keep a poker face despite almost feeling light headed from blushing so badly.

"Just a saying that, the type you ordered isn't the best choice"

"Eh, I do what I want" Kai swatted Jay's advice away. The boy shrugged and decided to take a sip from his own beverage,
"Suit yourself"

A few minutes later Kai's drink arrived and the brunette took a sip. Jay debated on talking again but decided against it because he just didn't want to get distracted on being an absolute gloomy bastard the evening.

"So why the long face?" Kai broke the unspoken silence. Jay picked up his drink and swirled it between his fingers,
"....nothing"
He sensed Kai raise an eyebrow. Jay goarned internally and shook his head.

"....Don't worry about it okay? Just get wasted tonight or whatever you call it" Jay avoids any eye contact with Kai but manages to keep a neutral face.
But the brunette stares at Jay with disbelief. Jay wasn't sure why, he raised an eyebrow and asked,

"Why are you looking at me like that? What? Can't a guy be honest?"

Kai chuckles softly, sending a shiver down Jay's spine.

"Let me tell you something;" Kai leaned in over to Jay until the ginger could feel his hot breath on his neck,

"This is my first drink tonight" Kai whispered to Jay's ear, an seductive edge on his tone.

That bit really got to Jay as he felt his cheeks grow hotter and his throat runs dry if words.
The boy drew back from Kai and pulled a smug smirk,
"You've really impressed me now Kaizhen Smith, congratulations."

But for Kai, that moment he saw right through Jay. The boy couldn't help a chuckle escaping his lips. At this Jay raised an eyebrow,
"What's so funny?"
